They playing with parody… I fought for it. Took my case all the way to the Supreme Court — Campbell v. Acuff-Rose Music, Inc. And WON. That’s why parody is protected TODAY. That’s why Drewski — and every comedian — can do what they do. Because I fought for their protection. So when I speak… it ain’t opinion — it’s experience. I’m a fighter. Always been one. And District 20? I’m gonna fight tooth and nail — every single day. luthercampbellforcongress.com Make sure you’re on the right side of history.

🚨BREAKING: A Native American family in Utah is speaking out after what they say was a complete breakdown of the system inside their own home. They claim an officer showed up with a woman who legally was not supposed to be near the property due to protective orders and instead of verifying anything he allegedly ignored the paperwork crumpled it and forced his way inside. No warrant. No permission. Just escalation.

Jesse Owens of USA winning gold for the long jump in the summer Olympics in Germany, 1936.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The man saluting behind Owens is Lutz Long, a German who shared training tips with Owens and was the first to openly congratulate him after his final jump in full view of Hitler. After the Olympics, the two kept in touch via mail. Below is Long's last letter to Owens while he was stationed with the German Army in North Africa during World War 2. Long was later killed in action during the allied invasion of Sicily in 1943.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ "I am here, Jesse, where it seems there is only the dry sand and the wet blood. I do not fear so much for myself, my friend Jesse, I fear for my woman who is home, and my young son Karl, who has never really known his father.⁣⁣ My heart tells me, if I be honest with you, that this is the last letter I shall ever write. If it is so, I ask you something. It is a something so very important to me. It is you go to Germany when this war done, someday find my Karl, and tell him about his father. Tell him, Jesse, what times were like when we not separated by war. I am saying—tell him how things can be between men on this earth.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ If you do this something for me, this thing that I need the most to know will be done, I do something for you, now. I tell you something I know you want to hear. And it is true.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ That hour in Berlin when I first spoke to you, when you had your knee upon the ground, I knew that you were in prayer.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Then I not know how I know. Now I do. I know it is never by chance that we come together. I come to you that hour in 1936 for purpose more than der Berliner Olympiade.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ And you, I believe, will read this letter, while it should not be possible to reach you ever, for purpose more even than our friendship.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I believe this shall come about because I think now that God will make it come about. This is what I have to tell you, Jesse.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I think I might believe in God.⁣⁣ And I pray to him that, even while it should not be possible for this to reach you ever, these words I write will still be read by you.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Your brother,⁣⁣ Luz"⁣⁣ More chilling historical photos: bit.ly/46yA996

JUSTICE SERVED: Two executives have been sentenced to 20 years in prison for a $233M Obamacare fraud scheme. Cory Lloyd, 46, and Steven Strong, 42, profited handsomely for years from the scheme, Justice Department officials said, using the proceeds to purchase luxury vehicles, an 80-foot yacht and an oceanfront home in the Florida Keys. The scheme involved lying and falsifying government forms to obtain coverage for individuals and lying to or bribing would-be enrollees to sign up for plans even when they knew doing so would cost them their existing insurance coverage.

Central African dictator Jean-Bedel Bokassa & his wife Catherine during his coronation as ‘Emperor of Central Africa,’ 1977. The ceremony was so extravagant that it cost a 3rd of the country’s entire annual budget to carry out. None of the world leaders invited to the event attended. In 1977, Jean-Bédel Bokassa staged one of the most infamous displays of excess in modern history: his coronation as “Emperor of Central Africa.” Modeled after Napoleon Bonaparte’s self-coronation in 1804, Bokassa spared no expense in trying to project imperial grandeur. He commissioned a diamond-studded crown, imported a golden throne shaped like an eagle, and even wore a velvet cape trimmed with ermine. His wife, Catherine, was crowned Empress in equal splendor. The price tag was staggering, an estimated $20 million, which amounted to nearly a third of the Central African Republic’s annual budget. Much of the money came from French aid that was intended for development projects, sparking outrage at home and abroad. Bokassa invited dozens of world leaders to witness his crowning, but none attended, leaving the spectacle to play out largely in isolation. While Bokassa hoped the coronation would cement his legitimacy and elevate his small nation onto the world stage, it instead became a symbol of authoritarian vanity and misrule. Just two years later, in 1979, he was overthrown in a coup supported by France. His reign—marked by brutality, corruption, and extravagance—remains a cautionary tale of unchecked power wrapped in gold trimmings. © Historical Photos #archaeohistories

Thomas Rolfe (1615–c.1680) was the only child of Pocahontas and English settler John Rolfe, making him a link between the Powhatan people and the early Virginia colony. Born at his family's plantation in Virginia, he traveled to England as an infant with his parents, but his mother died there in 1617. Too ill to return to Virginia, Thomas was left in the care of relatives and did not reunite with his father again. He grew up in England under the guardianship of his uncle, Henry Rolfe, and returned to Virginia as a young man around 1635. Once back in the colony, he inherited land from his father and step-grandfather and began establishing himself as both a planter and a man connected to his mother’s Native lineage. In 1641, he even asked permission to visit his Powhatan relatives, including his “aunt and kinsman Opecancanough.” Thomas later married Jane Poythress, and they had one daughter, Jane Rolfe, whose descendants include notable Americans such as Edith Bolling Galt Wilson and actor Edward Norton. His last known record appears in 1658, and he likely died before 1681. Today, an estimated 100,000 people may descend from him, reflecting his unique place in early American history. When an Aboriginal Australian girl graduated college in 2016, her grandfather, an Aboriginal elder who lives on a remote island, traveled almost 2,000 miles to attend the ceremony and dance with her. In 2016, a young Aboriginal Australian woman graduated from college, an achievement that marked not just personal success, but the power of perseverance, family, and cultural pride. To honor the moment, her grandfather, an Aboriginal elder, journeyed nearly 2,000 miles from a remote island to attend her ceremony. Dressed in traditional body paint and ceremonial adornments, he danced beside her, symbolizing the union of ancient tradition and modern achievement. The photo captures a profound moment where two worlds meet: the deeply rooted spirituality and heritage of Indigenous Australia, and the rising presence of Aboriginal voices in academia and society. His long journey wasn't just physical, it was generational, representing centuries of survival, resilience, and hope. Australia’s Aboriginal peoples are the world’s oldest continuous cultures, with traditions, stories, and ceremonies that have been passed down for over 65,000 years. © Reddit #archaeohistories
