CONVICTED | dog walker Luke Wilson, 20, from St Cyrus, #montrose, south Aberdeenshire DD10 – sexually attacked a dog he “clicked” with. Wilson, who has links to Hartlepool, County Durham, admitted carrying out an “utterly despicable” sex attack on a 15-year-old female Staffy cross he was walking for a stranger. Prosecutor David Rogers told the court that in April 2025, Wilson had replied to an online advertisement seeking someone to walk two dogs, Betty and Iffie. On 25 April Wilson arrived at their owner’s address to pick up the dogs and was advised that, due to Iffie’s age, she should not be walked for longer than an hour. When Wilson had not returned with the dogs after two hours, the owner became concerned. At 7pm, Wilson texted the worried woman. The text stated: “I know this is going to sound stupid but is there any chance I can look after Iffie for a day or two as me and her have really clicked.” Thinking this was strange, the owner told Wilson he could not keep the dogs, and offered to fetch them. But Wilson replied that he was going to give Iffie a shower, which alarmed the woman. She travelled to St Cyrus, where she met Wilson with her dogs on the side of a main road. Iffie was soaking wet and shivering, and Betty “looked anxious”, Mr Rogers told the court. When the dogs’ owner returned home, she noticed blood running down Iffie’s hind legs. She was whimpering and crying while attempting to relieve herself. The woman quizzed Wilson, who stated that the dog had “yelped once” while going to urinate and that he thought she had “sat on a stick”. Two days later, Wilson messaged the woman to ask if he could walk the dogs again, but she refused. After examining Iffie, a vet advised the owner to contact the police. On April 29, police executed a search warrant at Wilson’s address, where they found videos and images of Iffie on his phone. The disturbing content was of a sexual nature and extremely violent. During police interview, Wilson admitted to committing various sexual acts on the dog, most of which are too shocking to document. Examination of Wilson’s phone uncovered footage of him with a second, unidentified dog with short dark ginger hair. Officers also found evidence that Wilson had been chatting to what he believed was a 10-year-old girl online, who had sent various child sexual abuse material in exchange for money. There was also a reference made to another charge from 2024 of Wilson being in possession of dozens of indecent images and videos of children. Some of the children featured were toddlers and newborn babies. Police also found videos of bestiality on Wilson’s mobile phone. Wilson pleaded guilty to two counts of having an unnatural connection with a dog and another charge of causing a dog unnecessary suffering. He also admitted possessing indecent images of children and another charge of downloading child abuse material. He also pleaded guilty to one charge of communicating indecently with a child and requesting sexual images. Sentencing | four-year custodial with half to be served behind bars and half on licence. This statement responds to the decision by @ScotNational
to refuse future advertising from the Independence for Scotland Party following so called “reader feedback" and to the conditional offer from The Herald to carry an advert only if it removes any reference to women. This raises serious concerns about censorship, political gatekeeping and the suppression of legitimate debate in Scotland’s media.
No, this isn’t just “strong feedback,” this is a line being crossed. What we’ve been sent isn’t a commercial decision, it’s a political one, a decision to shut the door on a lawful political party because it dares to say things that make the comfortable uncomfortable for the Editors. A paper that wraps itself in the language of independence and democracy has just shown exactly where it stands when a real alternative appears, not beside the people, but blocking them.
Let’s call it what it is, censorship, raw, blunt, unashamed and then comes the so called “alternative,” an offer with a condition that should outrage every single person reading it,
we can have NO reference to women.
Take a second and let that sink in.
A political party in Scotland is being told it can access a front page but only if it stays silent about women, silent about rights, silent about safeguarding, silent about reality and silent on one of its founding principles.
So here’s the question that needs to be answered by these so called newspapers.
When are they going to tell their women readers that their sex is not relevant to their pages?
Because that is exactly what this decision says,
It says women don’t matter, at least not if acknowledging them disrupts a preferred narrative of the queer agenda, it says some truths are inconvenient to the trans allies and therefore must be buried, it says free speech is conditional and only exists for those who toe the TRA line.
Well here’s the problem with that, the Independence for Scotland Party does not exist to toe anyone’s line, it does not exist to ask permission, it does not exist to dilute its principles and it sure as hell does not exist to be told what it can and cannot say by editors, advertisers or anyone else who thinks they get to control the boundaries of public debate.
ISP will not be silenced, not by newspapers, not by gatekeepers, not by anyone.
If you think shutting us out of a front page stops this message you’ve fundamentally misunderstood what’s happening across this country. This isn’t about ink on paper anymore, This is about people, it is about lived experience, it is about voices that have been ignored for far too long finally refusing to be quiet and here’s the truth that should worry them most, every door you close, we’ll kick open another, every platform you deny, we’ll build our own, every attempt to silence us only proves why we must speak louder, because a movement grounded in reality cannot be erased by editorial decisions, so keep your front pages, stick your conditions where the sun don't shine, the ISP will not be controlled by arms of the British state.
The people are watching, the people are listening and no matter how hard you try
you will not silence us.

Respecting your existence as a human being is easy everyone deserves dignity and basic rights.
The UK Supreme Court already confirmed it: under the Equality Act, “woman” and “sex” mean biological sex at birth- not feelings, not a Gender Recognition Certificate, not activist demands. Women’s single-sex spaces, sports, prisons, and services exist to protect actual females from male violence, strength, and privacy invasion.
Demanding we all pretend males can be women isn’t “resistance” -it’s a dangerous, delusional erasure of sex-based rights that puts women and girls at risk. Enough with the gaslighting. Biology isn’t bigotry!

Women o’ Scotland will be at hustings across the country over the coming weeks. With the election fast approaching, it’s vital we show up, ask questions, and hold candidates and parties accountable.
