Went to pickup my NP thyroid medication like I do every 3 months for the last 10 years. New pharmacist. She acted like I was trying to refill Percocet or Oxy. “Why NP?” Me: “Versus Synthroid or Levo? Because T4 only medications are poison for many of us.” For a minute I thought she wasn’t going to fill it, and I’d be on some randos TikTok for losing my mind ON my birthday no less . She then prints this out, and asks me if I’d like immunizations, because I’m “not up-to-date.” “I’m in a huge hurry; can I get them all at once?” And this Gen Z pharmacist…without missing a beat, says “absolutely.” I just grabbed the form and walked off. @cvspharmacy , you need to train your people better. And why the high turnover rate at your pharmacies? Unbelievable.

Five teaching hospitals in Texas - including Houston Methodist - require all students to get a Covid shot in order to do rotations at their hospital. Most people think FOIA requests are for journalists chasing scandals. Here's what we used them for. The CDC's own website says it in black and white: "Vaccines do not cause autism." Mountains of science, they said. The evidence is settled, they said. So @AaronSiriSG did something simple. He said let's FOIA for the things I'm pretty sure they don't actually have. We asked the CDC to provide every trial they relied upon to establish that the first six vaccines given in the first six months of life do not cause autism. A year and a half of litigation (and a fortune in legal fees.) And they finally came into court and said they have no such trials. Not one for any of the six vaccines we asked about. The mountain of science doesn't exist. It never did. And here is the part that I think about most. I understand why this is hard to accept. You are busy. You are not a medical student. You just want to be able to hand your baby to a doctor and trust that someone has done their homework. That is a completely reasonable thing to want. That is exactly how they got away with it for so long. We trusted and we never asked. And the moment someone finally asked, in a court of law, with the full weight of the legal system behind the question, the answer was silence. Reminder that children who do not receive one or more vaccines due to their parent’s convictions are not locked away in an attic. They are going to church, participating in sports leagues, enrolled in ballet class, are part of large homeschool meetups, etc. They are just denied, in a few states, an in-school education. In this instance, let’s be more like Sweden, Norway, Denmark, etc., that have no school mandates. Persuade parents on the merits and, if you can’t, that is called informed consent. They were informed and didn't consent; mandating over their objection is immoral and illiberal.
