Sometimes, mostly jokingly.
Usually when we talked about things they would do that we would find ridiculous because it was highly illegal for us such as drugs, being very overweight, common legal troubles.

@algae_fish Pharmacies usually do this automatically if they're switching you to a different manufacturer of the same drug. I've had it happen for drugs that have nothing to do with schizophrenia.

I don't have schizophrenia as far as I know but I can't decide if this is reassuring or not I didnt know products could be direct like that

FWIW. A .45 caliber bullet has a frontal surface area 21% larger than a 10mm bullet. A large flat face, non-expanding, bullet can be an excellent choice on a 4-legged predator.

@MorosKostas @RichardHanania As far as I'm aware, second cousin marriage is legal in all 50 states. A lot of second cousins don't meet until they're adults, or meet outside of a family context. If only one such marriage happens in a family, the genetic risk is very low.

My heart goes out to everyone who tried to take the Washington bar exam. You spend years in law school, months preparing, thousands of dollars on courses, and countless hours putting your life on hold for a single exam. To have that process disrupted or thrown into uncertainty after all of that is genuinely heartbreaking. No matter how this ultimately gets resolved, these examinees deserved better.

the cause of the engine failure is that the engines used in light aircraft are all 1940s designs because it's too expensive to get the FAA to approve new ones.

A pilot safely landed a small plane on Huntington Beach after losing engine power shortly after takeoff from John Wayne Airport. The pilot and his 16-year-old nephew were unharmed, and the FAA is investigating the cause of the engine failure.

This is the most senseless act of economic self-sabotage in modern history.
$5.5 billion a year. 53,000 jobs. $268 million in annual sales tax. That's the hemp industry Texas criminalizes on Friday, when delta-8 and the other manufactured isomers go Schedule I.
The state gave retailers three weeks' notice. Shops that are legal Thursday will be holding felony inventory Friday, and today I watched Austin stores giving product away because a giveaway is cheaper than a felony.
Austin PD has already said possession will be a state jail felony. 180 days to 2 years and a $10,000 fine for a gummy, while actual weed stays a misdemeanor they rarely arrest for. Every court date and jail bed burned on a gummy case is capacity pulled off robberies and murders.
Demand won't vanish and will simply walk to a dealer who tests nothing and answers to a cartel. Texans get a dirtier product and criminals get the revenue.
Alcohol kills about 178,000 Americans a year. Tobacco kills 480,000. Both are legal in every corner store, and both industries bankroll the politicians who cheered this on.
I own property in Austin. I walked through the Capitol this week and saw the Governor's Cups on display, all 14 of them, one for every straight year Site Selection magazine named Texas the top state in the nation for business investment. Growth that lifted everyone here. And the same state that polishes those trophies is torching a homegrown industry for nothing.

Pat Fitzgerald cites some very bad facts re the prosecution of James Comey : @SecretService agents acknowledged #3 DOJ official ordered them to surveil Comey and they felt it was likely illegal. Agents also gave Trump updates on the case on AF1 at his instruction.
