We're told that we shouldn't object to Helen of Troy being portrayed as a black woman. And yet if a major Hollywood studio made a film set in Africa and cast a white woman as "the most beautiful woman in Africa," those same people would literally riot in the street. If, say, Sydney Sweeney was cast in the role, they'd be driven to murderous violence. We all know this is the case.

Someone should make a video game that is actively harmful, not like its propaganda for dangerous opinions but just simply playing it somehow measurably deteriorates your physical/mental/emotional health like just booting it up and playing for an hour guarantees you ruin your day

The light speed ramming scene in The Last Jedi was awesome in theaters. Packed theater went so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Someone audibly gasped. Pure movie magic. Doesn't really hold up to at home viewing though.

The Rise of Skywalker might be the worst major production movie I've ever watched.
The whole Sith dagger thing lining up with the wreckage of the Death Star caused me to shout "Oh no!" in the theater.

Reminds me of that time archeologists reconstructed a stone age instrument and demonstrates what it would've sounded like (awful) and then a musician started jamming on it and they went "I highly doubt cavemen were listening to this kind of high tempo stuff"

Polychromy is archaeologists finding traces of the underpainting layer and then pretending finely crafted sculptures were handed to pre-schoolers to paint by number. They even get frustrated by how much “red hair” they find- red is used in underpainting to build warmth for brown.

These are both very solid PSA 7’s of Andre. The Giant. Graded accurately I believe. If you had to choose one which is the better card? No right or wrong answer just curious if people pick the old cert or the new cert most.
