Can we extend this line of thinking to clinical decision-making? If a test result won't impact a potential treatment course, it should also be considered unethical. Take prenatal genetic screening for ex. A positive result can be up to 93% wrong.

In light of commentary on how Emergency Medicine is falling as a speciality due to the recent @TheNRMP #match results—think it’s worth pointing out that it’s not just #ER, it’s really all primary care (Psych, Peds, FM, EM) aka the core of safety net medicine. A few thoughts on #Texas #WinterStorm from this week... TLDR: The media runs a pariah narrative pitting sides against each other...but that's just a distraction. The real message: We may have lost power and heat, but the heart of Texas will still warm your soul.

3/ This needs to be disclosed upfront when buying a new phone, as it punishes dual SIM users and makes it impossible to ever upgrade your phone without putting it in a box for 2 months. Also, there is only a 14 day window to return old phone... making this even more convoluted.

2/ I was also advised I could pay for the phone in store, in cash (?!!!!), and this would unlock the phone. Not only do I not want to drag around $1K of cash, but local VZ stores are all closed anyhow. So this is a useless alternative.

@hansvestberg @VZWSupport @Verizon 1/ I'm returning my iPhone 12 Pro due to VZ policy hell. I use dual SIM and because of the 60 day lock, I was unable to activate my second line (w/ another carrier). Even Tier 2 management was sympathetic, but was unable to fix this problem.

@SouthwestAir I get that but it’s not exactly the same as having two reservations bc the companion can’t travel if the main res is canceled. It is punitive to separate companion during boarding and a downer to having A list at all.

@gary_kelly @SouthwestAir Why can’t A-list & Companion pass holders have their companions board with them? It should be allowed since we’re traveling together. My companion has B pass - if I board w her I lose my A#. She was stopped by gate agent at @DallasLoveField
