In contrast to the OP about killings by Muslims in connection with religious conquests, you’ve referred to events that were not led by Jews acting pursuant to religious beliefs, or committed by groups made predominantly of Jews, or targeted against people because of their religion, or made for the purpose of geographic expansion or conquest. It’s gross that some people are so intellectually lazy and indifferent to truth, they fall back on the kind of black and white thinking that young children use, no matter how preposterous. It’s easier to blame one boogeymen for everything than it is to struggle with the complexity of history.

Something that's always bothered me about Dune (the books as well as the movies): You're rooting for the Fremen. They're the underdogs. The good guys. The Fremen are Muslim. If you doubt me, just look at their language. Their belief system. Hell, even their habitats are almost too on-the-nose. FFS, they even refer to Muad'dib as "Mahdi".
