lets be honest here, this take about the fade being the broke boy haircut is completely off. keeping a sharp fade means youre actually spending money and time at the barber consistently, which shows discipline. the guys growing their hair out into that medium wavy style are mostly the ones who stopped going to the barber because they either cant afford it anymore or theyre too lazy to maintain a real look. they romanticize it as leveling up when its really just settling for less. the men defending the long hair the hardest are usually the same ones who know deep down their fade was the only thing making them look put together. real confidence comes from staying sharp, not hoping the extra length hides the lack of effort.
