This is a shameful stain on Belgium.
The prosecution of these religious figures (mohels), one of whom is American, is WRONG and won’t be tolerated.
Belgium will be thought of now as anti Semitic by world. Until this is resolved - there is no way around it.
The Trump Administration condemns this judicial action and also condemns the political inaction by the Belgium Government to find a solution with the beautiful Jewish communities here in Belgium.
We call upon the Belgium Government to work with the Jewish leaders and communities to find a certification solution immediately.
For the sake of Belgium’s reputation around the world, I hope the Belgian Government will act NOW.

Germany is targeting me through legal means, artificially criminalizing me, and I am not an isolated case. Many Jews and pro-Israel Jews (and non-Jews) are being targeted simply for hard expressing a pro-Israel position.
A judge told me directly that she sees I support Israeli policy and that she does not support it. This was said in a case about Jewish women who were burned alive on October 7, 2023, while serving as unarmed observers.
I am facing countless legal proceedings, and many others are in the same situation.
You respond to the artificial criminalization of a mohel. But what about us? A mohel can go to Israel and have a job and income. I don’t know how ordinary Jewish families are supposed to cope.
Respond to the way Germany is treating Jews.🙏
