@LordBalyn@gabyvivassa They are going to impose a capital gains tax of 36% over UNREALIZED gains in 2028
Get the fock out.
Already people are leaving in droves. They will found out they shot themselves in the foot and they will even put more draconian laws like an exit tax.
Get the fock out.

So, it's been 7 days since we've been stuck in Doha. I wanted to share a few updates, since I have been getting a lot of calls/messages:
1. We have no relief flights from Doha to India yet. And, there's no visibility in the horizon either.
2. Indian Embassy of Qatar is mostly incommunicado. The phone lines are near-impossible to connect to. This is adding to the anxiety of many stranded Indian passengers here. @IndEmbDoha I know because we have a WA group to help share information.
3. Accommodation and food are still being provided. And, Qatar Airways has a 24hr help desk at our hotel.
4. Many folks have managed to exit out through Riyadh and Saudi Arabia with on-arrival VISAs (note that you need a stamped UK, US, or Schengen VISA for the same). We haven't done that yet because one of our colleagues doesn't have that option.
5. Thankfully, the embassy @IndEmbDoha has offered to facilitate VISAs for the same but with the caveat that they need 48 hours to respond. I believe -- considering the emergency -- it should be handled faster. Also, the form requires us to share onward flight ticket from any Saudi AIRPORT. What date should we book it for, if we have no clarity on how long it will take for us to get a VISA?
Truth be told, I started off calm and composed, despite the loud blasts, and the sirens. But now, the anxiety and frustration is setting in. It is further exasperated by the fact that many folks have been able to get out of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
@DrSJaishankar@MEAIndia if you could help all the stranded passengers here and help us in anyway possible, that would be great.
I crossed over to Oman from Dubai yesterday via the Hatta border
Muscat airport is open for flights while Dubai airspace remains closed till March 7
Muscat is safe and calm (3rd pic). Almost surreal in this madness. People are kind and welcoming. I would come back here for vacation.
And the border crossing over land was smooth. I wish someone told me all this information before - I would have crossed over much earlier.
Sitting in a hotel room you start thinking of everything that can go wrong. I was thinking I am going to drive through mountains and deserts in maybe war torn territory. And that's why I didn't do it earlier. It was a scary proposition but honestly I was overthinking it
Of course I don't recommend doing the border crossing at night time.
The roads are great and the scenery is beautiful
Do it at least 1 day before your flight.
Also being cash. You would need 50 AED to pay for your visa stamping in Oman
The entire journey door to door took me 8 hours. But that was when there were no lines at the transit counters.
I am seeing reports of a lot of traffic at the Hatta border now, so account for an extra couple of hours ie you should expect 9-10 hours door to door
The entire trip involved 2 private cars and 2 buses.
Here's what to expect step by step:
1. Arrive in a taxi to the Hatta border. Couple of hours. Beautiful scenery through mountains (1st pic)
2. You are dropped off at the border on UAE side with your luggage
Luggage is scanned and then you get an exit stamp on your passport
This is where you might have the first queue of people
I am not posting pictures of the border because of security reasons
3. Now you board a UAE bus with your luggage that takes you to a circular area
You get off with your luggage and board a second bus, this one from Oman with your luggage
4. The Omani bus driver then asked us to give him 50 AED in cash for Visa fee
You then disembark the Omani bus and enter the Oman border control office for your visa stamping
You have to take out your luggage again for the 2nd and final scanning
This is where you might have long queues again
5. You board your Omani bus again and it now brings you to a spot that is pictured below (2nd pic)
This is where you get into another taxi if you pre-arranged for it.
Or you can also find a taxi from here as I saw many taxi drivers there
6. Now you drive to Muscat for 2.5-3 hours
Please share this with others who are stranded in Dubai and considering an option via Muscat
@jamieba84878021@SecRubio@TravelGov Just make your own way out. They won’t care. Get a Drive to Riyad and then flights operate from there. Do it before that route also closes

It looks like @qatarairways cancelled all flights up to 5th of March and now only from 6th March flights are available to book. #closedskies
Meanwhile @etihad and @emirates resumed flights
Love this video:
‘Streets are calm, safe, everyone’s chilling no panic at all.
“Dubai’s still the safest spot around”
Thanks for the real talk, champ ❤️
Деми Мур появилась на красной дорожке Actor Awards (ранее известных как SAG Awards) в чёрном платье Schiaparelli Couture, которое приковало к себе все взгляды. Главным акцентом образа стала огромная деталь из белого тюля на задней части платья.
U know who is celebrating the attack on Dubai right now?
People who cant afford it but would really love to live here. But cant.
Dubai is a beauty right on the other side of $50k+ per month.
No better city. Deal with it. Nothing changed.
