Excited and humbled to announce I have joined @Bitmartexchange and been appointed its Global CEO! With BitMart’s solid foundation and strong commitment to user empowerment, I look forward to working with Founder and Group President @sheldonbitmart and the rest of the BitMart team to scale the global business together! Reflecting on 2.5 amazing years as a Partner at @AnimocaVentures, I’m forever grateful for my colleagues @jiqqyjones @jennyqcheng Connie, Trevor, Agnes, and @CheungBillson. Your passion and brilliance made every day inspiring. Thank you for shaping my Web3 journey. At @animocabrands I was exceptionally lucky to work under the visionary leadership of @ysiu along with esteemed colleagues / industry leaders / friends @alanlau999 @EvanAuyang @minhdo @Mo_Ezz14 @RichardRobinson @tylerdurden88 @viewfromhk @yusufg @0xsamt and many more. I had the pleasure of investing into and working with some of the best entrepreneurs and teams in the space including the likes of @monad_xyz @ton_blockchain @berachain @titan_content @tacbuild, and many more. After 17 years as an investment banker in New York, my transition into Web3 was the best decision I have made, and I continue to be bullish for the future of this industry. But most importantly, it’s the relationships I’ve built that I treasure most and am grateful for. BitMart’s mission to scale its AI-driven solutions, enhancing its platform to better serve both institutional and retail users, feels like the perfect next step. Together with Sheldon’s continued involvement, I am excited to help build on BitMart’s legacy while pushing forward our vision of bridging the crypto landscape across borders and driving new opportunities for users worldwide. Parting with Animoca feels bittersweet, but I am thrilled to embark on a new journey at BitMart. Let’s keep in touch - this industry is all about relationships. 昨天和 @MetaMarshmello 回母校，去社團聽 @50Nent 分享。 兩個小時零簡報！但氣場超強大邏輯超清晰！ 其中一句印象深刻的話：「AI 不能取代的，是人和人的關係。」 仔細想，這句話其實在描述一個結構性的轉變。 AI 正在做的事，是壓平技能的稀缺性。 工具變民主化，「會」的門檻在降，技術優勢的半衰期在縮短。 那什麼在升值？ 是那些難以量化、也難以複製的能力。比方怎麼建立信任、怎麼讓人記得你、怎麼在對的時機說對的話。 這些東西沒有辦法靠 prompt 生成，履歷也寫不出來。 但往往是這些在決定結果。 Soft skill 仍是這個時代的核心競爭力。
