I think few people are in favour of continuing population explosion in Africa. He is only able to think of demography as a single number that is the global population. Why?

So, it looks like the EU - first in the world - is going to formally say that all sex not involving ~the liberal-arts-campus standard of "affirmative, verbal/explicit, enthusiastic, informed, sober, continuing, preferably provable (etc)" consent is rape. The problem, per polling, is that this is...60-90% of sex. Before feminist buddies scream "You're so close to GETTING it (!!!)," this is as true for men as for women. I've lived in both low-income black and low-income white neighborhoods, and I think the proper response to both is to get away from them as quickly as possible. There's no enjoyment in watching the type of hair-trigger violence that causes sons to beat up their mothers in the front yard, listening to dogs barking 24/7, living next to junkie strippers and petty drug dealers, having your vehicle stripped at night, stepping on poop on your front step left by unneutered pit bulls running loose, hearing constant police sirens, shopping in a depleted ghetto grocery store, accepting that both your house and your car are going to get broken into on a regular basis, and just being around the most dysfunctional and dangerous people produced by society and bad genes. That bottom decile is a mostly desperate place and I'm not inclined to attach any romanticism to it.

The problem is that the men who call time on a meeting are blocked from making the call. The problem is the men who walk out holding thousands of pages of reports are not allowed to shut down the conversation and get to work. My fellow US Merchant Mariners have not been blocked from appointments and leadership jobs because we are men. We have been blocked because we are “rude,” “crass,” and we get our hands “dirty.” We are blocked because we are Acta Non Verba. We are sidelined because we get ship done. Całe to dziedzictwo zostało po 1918 roku, po 1945 roku — nie jako dar dla Polaków, ale jako szkielet gospodarczy zaprojektowany pod inną państwowość, który Polska przypadkowo odziedziczyła razem z ziemią. Śląskie huty i kopalnie eksportowały węgiel i stal — część trafiała do NRD. Szczecin funkcjonował jako węzeł dla całego bloku, ale z geopolitycznym centrum grawitacji na zachód, nie na wschód.
