@PattyMurray The Ballroom is being paid for by donors, not taxpayer money. Meanwhile, how much taxpayer money was wasted on Democrats pet projects, giving financial aid to illegal aliens, NGO slush funds that went right back into Democrat pockets. You are so hipocritical.
English

If you are mad about Republicans' shoveling $1 BILLION at Trump's ballroom—as you should be!—just remember:
Trump is asking them to blow 1500x times that amount on his war budget.

@greendragonhq Probably because the “blue” cities within the red states raise the stats in those red states. The top 20 cities with violent crime are all Democrat-controlled cities. Nineteen of the 20 poorest cities are Democrat-controlled cities.
English

Why is everything wrong with red states blamed on Democrats, when those same issues either don’t exist or are far less severe in blue/Democratic states?
The murder rate is higher in Republican states.
The life expectancy is lower in Republican states.
The poverty level is higher in Republican states.
The public education systems are worse in Republican states.
The healthcare systems are worse in Republican states.
The GDP is lower in Republican states.
Obesity is higher in Republican states.
Infant mortality is higher in Republican states.
Teen pregnancy is higher in Republican states.
Job opportunity is lower in Republican states.

@allenanalysis That was a joke. Everyone laughed with him when he said it. You are either disingenuous or just an idiot. Which are you?
English

Trump just said:
“When I get out of office in, let’s say, eight or nine years from now…”
His current term ends in 2029.
Eight or nine years from now is 2033 or 2034.
The 22nd Amendment limits presidents to two terms.
His own judicial nominees refused to confirm that on camera this week.
He’s not hiding it anymore.
Never stop connecting the dots.
English

@HouseDemocrats And yet it is still down from $5.10 during the Biden era.
English

@RepMcGovern It takes more than 16 months to fix four years of ineptness - especially when Democrats keep suing Trump to keep him from implementing much more sane policies.

Blaming somebody who hasn’t been in power for 16 months is getting really old…

Had a great discussion at the business roundtable in Aberdeen today. Great to hear how the permanent tax relief we passed in the Working Families @TaxCuts is helping South Dakota’s employees and small businesses.

Obama faced 11 documented assassination attempts during his presidency.
He never mentioned them publicly.
No fundraising emails.
No rallies.
No “they’re trying to silence me” speeches.
He just… governed.
Meanwhile, Trump turns every security incident into a merch opportunity, a rallying cry, and a donation link.
One man saw threats as part of the job.
The other sees them as content.
That tells you everything about their character.

English

@PattyMurray Here’s a better idea. Let Trump collect his tariffs, get rid of income taxes, and then have Congress spend within a balanced budget instead of a deficit.
English

Firefighters and nurses don’t get to hide their money in a trust fund and skip out on paying their taxes—billionaires shouldn’t get to either.
My new bill would close tax loopholes for billionaires with more than $50 million in dynasty trusts. spokesman.com/stories/2026/m…

@UziCryptoo Maybe people shouldn’t be satisfied with a career ripping burgers and getting wages meant for untrained, uneducated teenagers. Maybe they should get real career jobs that are worth more than $20/ hour.
English

In my area, In-N-Out and Chipotle are hiring around $20/hour for new workers.
Let’s say you even land full-time at 40 hours/week: $20/hour = $800/week
That’s $3,467/month before taxes.
After just 12% in federal taxes, you’re left with about $3,051/month take-home.
Now here’s the reality: Average one-bedroom apartment is around $2,000/month.
So even working full-time in fast food, 65% of your income disappears to rent alone.
That leaves you with about $1,050/month for:
• food
• transportation
• insurance
• phone
• savings
• emergencies
This isn’t a “budgeting problem.”
This is a cost of living crisis.
Working full time should never mean barely surviving.

@EndWokeness Is a literal crime how the community treated Walgreens - with theft and shoplifting.
English

@SenTimKaine And paying more than $20 million less than under the Biden Administration.
English

@RepJeffries And prices went from $2.39 just before the Biden administration took over and went up to $5.10 during the Biden administration. I didn’t see you complaining then.
English

Gas prices were under $3.00 a gallon before the reckless Republican war of choice in the Middle East.
Today it is $4.45.
You deserve better.

@FleeBoyJohn @DennisW64592178 @tommysantos14 Yes, the judge ruled against it, but the OP’s original post remains false.
English

Since the paid MAGA influencer losers are executing their marching orders on this Spirit story, let’s inject some reality.
The Biden administration didn’t stop any Spirit mergers. The issue went to trial and a judge ruled that a Jet Blue/Spirit merger violated US antitrust laws, and would likely increase prices on consumers.
The courts ruled, correctly, that the merger violated the law and would hurt Americans.
So, fellow Americans: what MAGA is really saying is they don’t give a shit about the law, and they don’t give a shit if you had to pay more to fly.

Hey, Chuck. Why weren’t you complaining when gas prices were much higher than this during the Biden administration? At least President Trump has a good reason for the price hike - keeping Iran from further terrorism support and keeping them from having nuclear weapons. The only excuse Biden had was economic mismanagement.
