I’ve visited Ukraine four times as Prime Minister, and I’ve seen first-hand the devastation caused by Russia’s invasion.
The UK’s support for Ukraine will never waver.
That’s why we’re funding fighter jets for Ukraine, strengthening their ability to defend themselves while supporting thousands of skilled jobs in the UK.
So good to see you again my friend, @ZelenskyyUa.
There would be no more fitting tribute to Senator Lindsey Graham than for the Congress to take up that Russian Sanctions bill, put it on the President’s desk and have President Trump Sign it into Law.
Lindsey knew who we were dealing with in Vladimir Putin. Now is the Time to fulfill Lindsey Graham’s vision, stand with Ukraine by passing those Tough New Sanctions and put the Russians back on their heels!🇺🇸🇺🇦
Honoured to receive the Order of Europe.
Ukraine's spirit is unique.
And best described by the word 'Nezlamnist'.
Unbreakable & indestructible.
Stoic & unshakeable.
It's the founding spirit of Europe.
Because Ukraine is Europe. x.com/i/broadcasts/1…
AMERICA IS BACK. 🇺🇸
Every single day I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America.
Just arrived in Kyiv for my 11th visit to Ukraine in wartime.
It’s a special moment. Ukraine has built a strong military momentum. The tide is turning.
I will announce new initiatives to integrate our defence industries.
So we can produce more, and faster.
We will also discuss accession and preparations for this winter.
@SecGenNATO@EmmanuelMacron@Keir_Starmer@bundeskanzler@ZelenskyyUa Real support for Ukraine means a no-fly zone and NATO troops on the front line. Everything else is just empty talk and a waste of your taxpayers' money on your junkets. Putin will keep fighting until he drops dead!
Glad to attend a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris today, co-chaired by President @EmmanuelMacron and PM @Keir_Starmer, alongside @bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz, and joined by President @ZelenskyyUa
Continued strong support for Ukraine 🇺🇦 remains a top priority for #NATO as demonstrated last week at the #NATOsummit in Ankara
We’re sanctioning Russia at speed and scale.
Today’s measures, together with the upcoming 21st sanctions package, will add 250 individuals and entities to the Russia sanctions regime.
This is our biggest round of individual designations since Moscow’s 2022 full-scale invasion, and includes also the EU’s largest-ever cyber sanctions package.
The financial backbone of Russia’s war machine is the main target. Every measure weakens Moscow’s ability to wage war.
My doorstep ahead of today’s Foreign Affairs Council ↓
@marklevinshow Разве у него было право определять, какой режим геноцидный, а какой нет? Он сам творил геноцид. Надеюсь, ответит за все перед Богом. Никто не вечен.
Lindsey Graham stood up to the world’s bullies and genocidal regimes. He was no warmonger. He was deeply concerned about the well-being of the human race.
Lindsey was a genuine American patriot who loved our country, was loyal to our people, and was committed to our allies — Israel, Ukraine, Taiwan, NATO, and more.
Lindsey was a true friend and leader. We spent a lot of time on the phone and texting the last few years as he reached out to me often. It was an honor to endorse his reelection when others would not.
He adored President Trump and was so proud of their friendship. And he gave the President outstanding advice through thick and thin. He wanted President Trump and our country to succeed.
I’m going to miss him a great deal. I already do. He leaves a huge void. I’ll have more to say tomorrow on radio and Hannity.
Thank you, Lindsey, for a life well lived. May God bless his family.
@5nadegda5@SenTimKaine We all will answer to God for every word we say or write. Lindsay Graham recognized the horrors russia waged on those who refused to be dominated by russia.
I was shocked to hear of Lindsey Graham’s death. I deeply appreciated Lindsey’s strong support for Ukraine and hope the Senate will honor his memory by promptly passing the Russia sanctions bill he championed. My condolences to his friends and family and to the state he loved.
Senator Lindsey Graham left his mark on South Carolina, our country, and the world through his decades of public service both in the military and elected office. He was a strong supporter of Ukraine in its fight against Russia. Gabby and I are keeping Lindsey’s family, friends, and team in our prayers.
@SenTimKaine I also think passing legislation to support Ukraine & stop Putin would be a great way to honor Senator Lindsay Graham. I admired his moral clarity that Russia’s criminal aggression must end.
So sad to learn of the sudden passing of my friend @LindseyGrahamSC
He was a powerful advocate for America who believed strongly in the NATO Alliance and was actively working to bring an end to Russia’s war against Ukraine. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and terrific team. I will miss him dearly
My condolences to Senator Lindsey Graham’s family and loved ones.
Senator Graham fought until the very end to support Ukraine’s fight for freedom and raise the cost of Russia’s war of aggression.
He worked tirelessly to strengthen sanctions, in close coordination with the EU.
A determined and fearless leader. He will be deeply missed.
The question of whether Ukraine can, through diplomatic or other efforts, prevent fuel supplies to Russia from neutral countries sounds like a historical joke. A country like Russia, whose economy has always been focused on exporting its own energy resources, is now scrambling to find fuel somewhere and somehow increase its ability to import fuel. So has Ukraine prevented this yet? Ukraine already has; we have already done this.
I think that if Yeltsin had known that 20-plus years later Russia, instead of exporting energy resources, would be importing them because it had asininely decided to unleash a war, Yeltsin would have chosen a different successor.
From answers to journalists’ questions. (3/3)
It is good to welcome my friend @ZelenskyyUa to Ankara
Ukraine's security is our security and we have important work to do to make sure you continue to have what you need to defend your freedom
Ukraine's ingenuity lies at the heart of its success in resisting Russia's full-scale invasion.
It is this ingenuity that we want to support.
Today, we are providing a first €3.9 billion for advanced drone technology to strengthen Ukraine's defence.
More will follow.
