@WillLewis_1976 @Trags Hunter knows his body. I don't question how long it took him to return from the groin issue. As for the bone spurs/bodies, he went to the top surgeon in the game and he recommended doing the shots and not surgery.

@5thBedel @Trags Right, this has been an ongoing issue. This isn't a problem that gets to the point of contemplating a trade because of a single incident.

Nick Krall explained this morning that Dr. Neal ElAttrache recommended an injection last fall when Hunter Greene was complaining of soreness in the elbow. It didn't solve the ultimate issue of loose bodies and bone chips, which will be removed on Wednesday by ElAttrache in LA. ElAttrache confirmed the initial diagnosis last Friday by Dr. Tim Kremchek. Greene out until July.

@WillLewis_1976 @Trags No. It started when the team believed he should've returned from his groin strain and he told them that he still felt it tugging when he would pitch.

So is this where the story about a rift between the Reds and Greene came from? Instead of seeing Kremchek last fall Greene saw the other guy? Then he got shots instead of getting a second opinion through the team to make sure? NOW Kremchek tells him bone chips and loose bodies, and the other guy confirms he's right?

@TBartels846804 @CharlieG__ His first month of 2025 was rough. No denying that. He then pitched to a 3.26era over his final 24 appearances, which included only allowing an earned run(s) in 4 of those 24 appearances. So there is clearly room to work with him and grow.

A lot of teams have been announcing their NRI's to spring training, not a peep from the Reds That tells me a few things 1) They believe in their core so much they aren't even going to bother with trying to invite a bunch of dudes this year 2) They are still actively searching for deals to make It's likely #2, but how many more times do they have to tell us they're poor before I start believing they're done completely... we'll see

As hard as I can be on Reds ownership, them having Redsfest is a really cool move. I didn’t realize until recently how many teams DO NOT have these types of fanfests. Got to work Redsfest a couple times back when I was in college. Was always such a cool event.

@JeffATrennepohl No thank you. His defense is atrocious. His base running is mediocre at best. His offense has gotten worse every season since he left Cincinnati after the 2021 season. Two of his past four seasons he has had an OPS under .700

So if Nick Castellanos gets released by the #Phillies should be #Reds pick him up?
