The people who said they were going to fix everything on day one are still blaming Joe Biden almost 500 days later.

Since the paid MAGA influencer losers are executing their marching orders on this Spirit story, let’s inject some reality. The Biden administration didn’t stop any Spirit mergers. The issue went to trial and a judge ruled that a Jet Blue/Spirit merger violated US antitrust laws, and would likely increase prices on consumers. The courts ruled, correctly, that the merger violated the law and would hurt Americans. So, fellow Americans: what MAGA is really saying is they don’t give a shit about the law, and they don’t give a shit if you had to pay more to fly. politico.com/news/2024/01/1…

I think Mark Cuban makes a valid point, though I’ll concede that he’s generalizing. There’s value to an elite college degree. You then have that label attached to you for the rest of your life. “A Harvard grad” is an impressive label. Even if it dropped to number six for law schools. (I joke.) A sneaker increases a lot in value when the Nike logo attaches. Same thing. But his point is too often overlooked. Better than even an elite degree is to be talented at a skill that others need. World class talent, even better. You’ve got to somehow possess a skill that is more important to people than the money they’ll have to spend for you to help them with whatever that skill is. I’d say that beats even an impressive label.

Mark Cuban says taking out a loan to go to college is the dumbest thing you can do "If you can't afford it you can't afford it. Don't take out a ton of loans and f#ck up your future" "I tell people go to community college. Accounting class is accounting class whether it's at a community college or at Harvard" "The delta between the most basic four year school and the best public universities is really small"

Only in America can one party control the White House, the Senate, the House of Representatives, win the popular vote, and hold the majority of governorships—and still blame the other party for everything wrong with the country.

The White House def activated the blue checkmarks to blame Biden for Spirit airlines. Amazing how he takes credit for anything good and never takes blame for anything bad. The most helpless, victim, snowflake ever to be president

All of this is true. What else is true is that 90% of the people who worked for Spirit, and who are now screwed, are going to vote Democrat anyway.
Yogi@Houseofyogi

Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements. Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service. JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes. The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%. For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%. Warren said no. She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024. Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year. Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug. 510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December. 14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight. And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms. Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back. 40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market. And the math ain’t mathing. Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%. That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.” So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money? Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years. Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do. Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.” A win. 14,000 people are reading termination letters tonight. And she’s taking credit. This is socialism in 2026. A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company. She saved you a billion on imaginary paper. She cost you ten times that in real life. She didn’t protect consumers from anything. 14,000+ will go from working to welfare. She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed. Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything. She called it a win. I hope you enjoy winning.

“Tax the rich” ignores reality: affluent New Yorkers help fund the very services people rely on. They support nonprofits that fill government gaps and directly employ thousands of middle-class New Yorkers, while those nonprofits distribute $27–$31B annually. Drive them out, and the fallout won’t be theoretical. @leddalhlwee employs thousands and donates millions to NYC hospitals and schools. Targeting his home for a political video is beneath the office of the Mayor.

Allow me to translate socialist to English. When Mamdani says, "NYC faces a budget crisis," he means, "we ran out of other people's money." When he says, "we need new revenue," he means, "we're going to tax people more." But wait, he already "taxed the rich" straight out of the city. So, who does that leave him to tax now? The next richest class. Then the one below that. And the one below that. It happens the same way every time. Isn't socialism neat?

@AnthonyCumia These costs have been outpacing revenue for a while now. Municipalities have been kicking the can down the road for a while now but at some point, the rubber meets the road it’s laughable that conservatives are criticizing him for being fiscally responsible. 2/2

@AnthonyCumia He’s doing what a responsible leader needs to do and confronting a budget short fall head on. This is happening in municipalities all across the country. Cities towns and counties are responsible for exploding healthcare costs and pension liabilities. 1/2

This fraud was asked in every pre election interview, “How will you pay for all of these “free” programs you’re proposing?” He never gave a straight answer. He just insisted, we will get it. Now? He’s crying about a budget crisis. NYrs are idiots.

Kash Patel: "This has been a case that's been investigated over the past 9. 10, 11 months. These cases take time. Our investigators work methodically." Kash's special agents slowly scrutinized seashells by the seashore. The scrutiny into the seashells was scrupulous, I'm sure.

This woman is so insufferable. She plays the victim all the fucking time. Being an actual victim of something is one thing. But making up scenarios in your head like people are against you is nuts. Her personality is what makes people turned off from her.
Heat Central@HeatCulture13

A’ja Wilson on what keeps her motivated to keep playing: “The real answer? I like making people mad. I like proving people wrong. I like to let people just burn because me and my team are doing great or they never could’ve imagined me or my team in this situation. That’s the real answer. The politically correct answer? The youth. The kids make me go!” (Via YT The Ballers Magazine)
