For the first time, I heard in the mainstream media the accurate and real reason for the resistance of the mullahs and IRGC in Iran: “They’re fighting for their existence. They know that if they if they lose this war, their biggest problem will not be American bombs from the air. Their biggest problem will be their own citizens, (they) will hanging them from lampposts in Tehran. You know, they’ve done so much damage to their own country and their own people for so long that there’s a lot of resentment built up there they can’t afford to show any weakness.” #IranWar

“When I think about my white European ancestors who came here, claimed these lands and introduced the human construct we call private property…” It’s all here: ❌ Inherited guilt based on race ❌ Private property as a “construct” ❌ Giving your public land away NDP “land back” activists are saying the quiet part out loud. I’ll stop it. Join me: 👉 WinForBC.ca

I’m willing to support the B.C. Conservatives no matter who the leader is for the next election simply because of the importance of having a conservative premier in B.C. But Milobar seriously needs to reconsider his reconciliation act idea. That B.C. Liberal nonsense is what pushed this province into the hands of the left.

I have a Canadian friend who is now an internal medicine doctor. He tried to get into med school in Canada - was rejected not because of grades but because he's a white male - so he went abroad. He then did his residency in Miami. He returned to Canada and applied to be a doctor in his home country. Was rejected. He was just hired by a huge hospital outside of Boston where he'll make triple the salary. His wife said when she gets pregnant, they'll have their baby in the US. And this is how brain drain happens. Canada does not nurture/protect its talent. This is why the country is bleeding intelligent/successful people - and they're relocating to America en masse.
Eric Jackson@ericjackson

71% of Waterloo's best engineers leave Canada (UWaterloo SE Class of 2022 graduate survey). And nobody riots. In any other country, a 71% talent export rate would be a national emergency. In Canada, it's Tuesday. The problem isn't the people who leave. They're rational. The US pays 2-3x more, taxes less, and builds things that matter. The problem is the people who stay and never ask why the system is designed to make leaving the rational choice. Canada doesn't have a brain drain problem. It has a demand problem. Nobody demands better. Not from the universities. Not from the employers. Not from the government. The best leave. The rest adjust. The cycle continues. Every country gets the talent retention rate it deserves.

If I hear "boots on the ground" one more time, I'm going to scream. No military strategist am I, but I think if the Iranian regime is going to fall, boots and bombs alone ain't gonna do it. The Iranian people have to do it, and they're all understandably sheltering inside (see bombs, supra). That said, any diminution of Iran's military capacity helps Israel. That's a win for the Jewish state. Doesn't feel like Trump has a win he can market at the mid-terms, however. Boots or no boots.

‼️ The NDP is moving as fast as possible with their radical DRIPA doctrine.  Their goal? To get it done before the citizens of BC realize what is happening and rightly kick them out of office.  Aboriginal law expert Geoff Moyse gets into it in @WDiminishment and what he reveals is truly shocking:  ➡️ “Egregious examples can now be seen where public servants require Indigenous consent before they will issue permits or make statutory decisions, even in cases where section 7 agreements under DRIPA are not in place. There are also many examples of government insisting that no permits will be issued unless proponents enter into agreements with local First Nations.” ➡️ “Claimed traditional Indigenous territories are being treated by government as if they are entirely owned by Indigenous people, as contemplated in Article 26 of UNDRIP, and subject to the supposed legal jurisdiction of the Indigenous territorial claimants, despite neither of those conceptions being legally valid under Canadian constitutional law as set out in previous Supreme Court of Canada jurisprudence.” ➡️ “This policy approach provides for government to treat Indigenous people, whose on-reserve populations amount to less than 2% of the overall B.C. population, as having equivalent legal and jurisdictional authority to the government itself, which represents 5.7 million B.C. residents, over their entire claimed traditional territories in decision-making contexts and land use planning schemes, thereby subjecting such decisions and processes to the requirement for Indigenous consent, which, for the most part, is not legally required.” It’s not overstating it to say: 📉 Our economy is at stake. 🗳️ Our democracy is at stake. ‼️ Our very way of life is at stake.  We need to defeat the NDP and to do that we need a leader who can not only win, but who has the courage to scrap DRIPA and roll back this radical agenda.  Join my campaign: WinForBC.ca
