Hamtramck, Michigan — the city liberals celebrated for electing a Muslim-majority city council — just banned the Pride flag from all city property. And now the same Left that spent years screaming “diversity is our strength” is suddenly feeling “betrayed.” ⁠ ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ ⁠ Why? Because the very people they insisted conservatives must “learn from” turned around and did something the Left never expected: They voted their actual religious values. Not the sanitized version liberals fantasized about. ⁠ ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ ⁠ And here’s the funny part… The LGBTQ activists who championed this council are now stunned — stunned — that it didn’t end in a rainbow parade. They were used. Plain and simple. 𝐀 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲. Get progressives to help you gain power… …then govern according to the worldview you actually believe in. ⁠ ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ ⁠ And that worldview? But hey — better late than never. Reality is a wonderful teacher.
