The establishment’s reasoning is basic strategic calculation: the left will not relent on Israel; a civil war inside the party over the Jewish state would destroy the coalition; therefore, the rational move is to concede this issue, preserve party unity, and proceed with the moderate agenda on everything else: affordability, climate, migration, AI, etc. Feed this one thing to the beast, and the beast will be satisfied. One of the dumbest questions that is asked is "Does Israel have a right to exist?" What sort of question is that? Does China? What about the US? Stop entertaining this debate. It's foolish, and it only legitimizes the idea that Jews are uniquely disqualified from having a home.

Antisemitism is believing that because a single Israeli soldier desecrated a cross, you think all of Israel is evil but when tens of thousands of Gazans cheer the rape and murder of Israelis, it’s not indicative of their culture.

Israel is back in control of southern Lebanon 26 years after it left in 2000, just as Israel is back in control of the Gaza Strip 21 years after it left it in 2005. This control, military occupation, or whatever you want to call it, is the direct result of irresponsible and criminal decisions made by Hezbollah and Hamas terrorists who failed to leverage newly acquired freedom and territories in pursuit of nation-building, sustainable futures, and peace. “Resistance” was not only a slogan, but it became an industrial complex, with money, narratives, propaganda, foreign interference, and terror infrastructure. Even if you believe in resistance, that should have stopped in Lebanon after 2000, and it should have stopped in Gaza after 2005 – the whole point of resistance is to no longer live under a direct military occupation. What kind of pathetic, ill-conceived, unintelligent, and moronic resistance invites the occupation back into one’s country decades later, causing complete and utter devastation? This is further proof that Hezbollah and Hamas, while made up of and endorsed by many in Lebanon and Palestine, were never truly organic to their respective societies and only existed as tools for foreign agendas, masters, and enablers.

"Believe all women" but also not believing Israeli rape victims even with enormous amount of forensic evidence, eye witnesses, survivor testimonies, rapists themselves admitting and bragging. Our daughter, Rachel Corrie, was killed in 2003 in Gaza, while trying to protect a Palestinian home facing illegal destruction by the Israeli military. She was 23 years old. The massive, armored Caterpillar D-9 bulldozer that crushed her was operated by two Israeli soldiers and manufactured in the United States. It was the same type of militarized bulldozer that US presidents from George W. Bush through to Donald Trump have delivered to Israel. Today, as the destruction of Palestinian homes has only become more commonplace, not to mention the horror of Israel’s genocide, Senator Bernie Sanders will force a vote in the Senate to try to end this cycle of death by banning the transfer of D-9 bulldozers to Israel. We hope he will not take this stand alone. No policy can bring back those taken from us by these actions—children and other loved ones. But the Senate now has an opportunity to honor the memories of our daughter, other Americans, and thousands of Palestinian civilians killed, and to show that their deaths, and all the destruction, will no longer be condoned and funded.
