Reasons Vance won't be the nominee in 2028: - His polls are cratering. - He loses head-to-head vs most Dems - even to AOC. - 2026 midterms are going to be a brutal test of his electoral coalition. - He's also losing influence inside the Trump admin. - Being a frontrunner 2.5 years out is a poor predictor of becoming the nominee (see Jeb! in 2016 and Giuliani and Hillary in 2008) All of that belies the weird Postliberal wishcasting about how he's the anointed one to usher in right wing socialist theocracy. And they get very, very mad when you point that out.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.

UN Chief Guterres: “End the war – immediately.”

It is precisely because the U.S. body politic has found no way of reining in Trump that we must hope that the current conflict with Iran can finally do so, argues columnist @hofrench. foreignpolicy.com/2026/03/20/us-…

I'm reluctant to write about the possibility of two Republicans making it to the CA-GOV runoff after a hilariously overcrowded top-two primary, because on some animal level I'm superstitious and don't want to jinx it.

Anyone against our redistricting efforts to stand up to Donald Trump doesn’t share our values as Democrats. If you want to oppose redistricting you picked the wrong primary to run in. BTW I endorse @MarkWarner.

Internal polling for this amendment must be terrible right now if the Senate President pro temp is attacking other Democrats for refusing to get in line behind their gerrymandering effort
