@timepercept I have preaty severe gut issues what could be better that bpc?
English

If anyone is having anhedonia or other negative symptoms or side effects after using BPC 157 it's caused by an acute drop/loss of 5-HT2A receptor function resulting in local brain 5ar transcription reduction which then drives brain AR overexpression and silencing of nuclear receptors ER & GR.
From which there are many downstream symptoms

@HealthyAlfred @sparrowninja22 Im dealing with pretty bad gut problems and bpc157 made me a paradoxical reaction(panic attack insomnia) any idea why?
English

Understandable concern. Here’s what the research actually shows:
BPC-157 doesn’t flood serotonin like an SSRI. It modulates region-specific serotonin synthesis — meaning it adjusts levels in targeted brain areas rather than blasting your entire system.
In published research it actually COUNTERACTED serotonin syndrome — the most dangerous side effect of serotonin excess. It didn’t cause it. It reversed it.
It also counteracted benzodiazepine tolerance and withdrawal without creating its own dependence. No addictive properties recorded across 544 studies.
If you’re currently on an SSRI or any serotonergic medication — talk to your prescribing doctor before adding anything. Not because BPC-157 is dangerous but because any compound that touches serotonin pathways deserves a conversation with whoever manages yours.
If you’re NOT on serotonin-related medication — the published safety profile is the cleanest I’ve ever seen for any compound that interacts with neurotransmitters. Zero toxicity at any dose tested.

BPC-157 activated 19 healing genes in a wound within 10 MINUTES.
Your body has the blueprint to fix itself. It just forgot how to read it.
They applied BPC-157 to an open wound. Measured gene expression at 2, 5, and 10 minutes.
2 minutes — 7 genes activated.
5 minutes — 14 genes. Including EGR-1 — the master switch for wound healing. Collagen. Growth factors. The entire repair cascade.
10 minutes — all 19 firing. Full healing program. One peptide.
Your injury has been “almost healed” for a year. Not because the damage is too severe. Because your body stopped sending the signal.
BPC-157 doesn’t heal you. It reminds your body HOW to heal. The genes were always there. The switch was off.
NSAIDs BLOCK healing genes. Cortisone shuts your immune system down. Painkillers silence the signal.
BPC-157 turns it UP.
→ EGR-1 — master healing switch
→ VEGF — new blood vessels
→ NOS3 — blood flow
→ AKT1 — cell survival
→ SRC — tissue remodeling
544 studies. Zero toxicity.
500mcg. Oral. Morning. Empty stomach.
Your body knows how to heal. It’s been waiting for the signal.

@theholisticnick It gave paradoxical reaction, what could be the reason?

@thewalshnation @jessicaalanas Hey! Have you tried bpc again? I had same reaction made me super anxious after taking it for 2 weeks.
English

@jessicaalanas Hi Jessica, enjoy you content! I believe I just had Paradoxical Reaction with BPC-157. Was going good and then had a bad reaction, second time in the last year using oral. Currently taking KPV as I’ve battled candida with low stomach acid and seems to be bringing me back…

@Elijahkrings I have lab results for vitamin B12 and a CBC. I’m wondering whether methylation issues are usually genetic or can just be a temporary imbalance. I take a methylated B-complex every four days—could I still be deficient? Are there any other tests you would recommend?

English

Do you have labs for B9,B12, Homocysteine & CBC? Methylation issues can be a problem in this instance
Also a history of low copper intake, or copper-zinc balance with B6 deficiency (very common) in terms of the glutamine department
I would go slow with everything. 1gr of glutamine or glycine and see
Going from there very slowly, but blood work in terms of methylation capacity would be interesting!
English

Without having any context, like any, I would start with the basics that do no harm in 98% of people:
- Get consistent sleep from 10PM to 8 AM depending on sun cycles & environment. Start the day with AM light in the eyes, best would be whole body
- Daily lymphatic drainage & myo-fascial release of the viscera (has been shown to improve gastritis from what I recall)
- If you can, stop any NSAIDS wrecking your mucous
- Nutrient dense no bullshit diet: cut out alcohol, sugar, wheats/grains, legumes, coffee/caffeine/ black teas, cow dairy (& non organic dairy), nightshades and high oxalate foods
- Stick to different meats with a focus on wild game & SMASH fish. Fruits/Rice/Sweet Potato (if starches go well), EVOO/Butter/coconut oil/ tallow as fats, carrots/ zucchini/ olives often go best in terms of veggies
- Incorporate starches & vegetables after 21-28 days, slowly but gradually. Look for sensitivies, bloating, GI discomfort and motility issues
- Basic supplements: B1, Mg, BSO, CLO, Glutamine, Zinc-LC
- Use certain herbs for the gastritis issues like slippery elm, peppermint, ginger, orange peel, licorice (tea + supplement)
- Eat 3 times a day and let MMC work. If you have motility issues try kiwis, iberogast, Vit C, Mg Citrate and if long term autonomic issues are there: B5 has been shown to improve gastric emptying after surgeries (restores motility basically)
- gratitude, deep breathing & smelling your food pre-eating to engage parasympathetic branch
- improve ANY weak areas of physiology & biochemistry. Look into bloods & symptoms for that: methylation, iron panel, CBCs, liver panel being the most important imo (check @GutOptimized and @jack_schroder_ for the interpretation of bloods and integration out)
- Grounding, blue light blocking as basic pillars (I forgot them above)
- Warm teas, soups & beverages. TCM and your GI tract love warming fluids for digestive firehouse

@Elijahkrings My adrenals are cooked due to gastritis how can I fix it?
English

@GutOptimized Why bpc 157 made me more anxius?(Im dealing with damaged gut lining, gastritis sympathetic overdrive caused by pain)
English

It’s been 7 years since I first used a peptide. Still not dead.
Have used KPV, GHK, TB-500, Larazotide, and BPC-157.
Thor Torrens@ThorTorrens
I’m waiting 5-10 years to take peptides. I want to wait and see what happens to all of you taking it first.
English

@FeR_NAN97C @Elijahkrings The constant pain signaling keeps me in sympathetic state(I'm just guessing)
English

The #1 of healing a dysbiotic gut is:
DO NOT START ANTIMICROBIALS FIRST HAND
Cannot believe there are still people running antibiotics/ antimicrobials without addressing digestive function, micronutrient lacks, immune system shifts & a leaky gut
The amount of systemic inflammation you will create and the backfire this can lead to is crazy
Fix your liver-thyroid-adrenal axis, motility, leaky gut, immune system & other weak areas of physiology and then go about it

English

@Elijahkrings I highly appreciate your response.
I think my biggest problem is a weak mucus lining because when I eat meatwhich requires more stomach acid I feel burning pain. It started 7 months ago with eating something that caused physical damage to the layer, and it heals extremely slowly.
