@NeilNevins try to get your head out of the twitter hate space, the show is gonna do generational numbers and theres not reason HBO would stop wanting to make more money, if there already rebooting the franshise why would they not make as much content from it as possible

I give it to season 3 until an HBO rep puts out the “we’re incredibly proud to have brought this magical world to life, but…” statement confirming there won’t be a Goblet of Fire

A few reasons why it’s hard to condense bioenergetics into a simple solution: -Carbs can make you fat -Fat can make you fat -Exercise can make you healthier -Exercise can make you sicker -Cutting calories can extend lifespan -Cutting calories can shorten lifespan -Vitamin A can cure skin problems -Vitamin A can cause skin problems -Thyroid hormones can energize you -Thyroid hormones can make you lethargic We need to be contextmaxxing, researchmaxxing, listening to our bodies

@Elijahkrings My point being maybe the anti fungal activity of KPV outweighs possibly supressing inflammation too much, which is possibly playing a role in helping to hold down pathogens But you likely know more than I on shifting back away to regular immune activity

@Elijahkrings Under the context of mould def the nose targeting makes sense. I know they leave (nasal) VIP at the end of the shoemaker protocol, maybe as the inflammatory immune shift can be holding things down(?). KPV is also anti inflammatory but def anti fungal to candida, maybe mould too?

Long term sinus infections driven by underlying immune suppression, chronic inflammation & cytokine milieu can worsen neuroinflammatory symptoms - Brain Fog - Dysautonomia - Sensory organs - Myelination Issues These can put downstream pressure on the whole body. I am starting my nasal cavity protocol and will report back: Daily sinus rinses with NAC, Propolis, Xylitol and Cinnamon Oil (anti-fungal). Its aimed to reduce biofilm daily 2-3/day colloidal silver nasal spray to reduce fungal load The key to this is persistence & consistency, as the issue can be really stubborn. Long term I will add KPV nasal spray, but thats something to see in the next 2-3 months I will keep you posted

@Elijahkrings Very fair enough. I was able to convince my GP for nasal swab which showed chronic Staph, but E.Coli is what the Microgen picked up. Yep, immunodeficiency. Not the norm. So in my case it was useful info. Hypochlorus acid, lactoferrin, bismuth and Symbioflor-1 worth considering

I probably will get some hate for that but the invest is not worth it imo If you go the non-pharma approach, you will most likely stick to 80% of what I already do, maybe add more essential oils (or more specific ones) I am very consumer aware and price sensitive so I would spend the money on other tests, as symptoms go a long way in this (& history of the client ofc)

@anomalie_blue Counterpoint: Butyrate is crucial to shifting the microbiome away from dysbiosis (gram negative overgrowth, LPS/endotoxin producers) Without fibre and soluble fibre there is no substrate for butyrate. I would urge anyone to consider that the microbiome is grey vs black and white

🦠 Casual reminder that endotoxin basically turns women into sociopaths, reducing empathy for others’ pain… You need to be poopmaxxing (1-3 daily well formed BMs) In both men and women, endotoxin injections induce depressive symptoms & social disconnection Animals injected with endotoxin: dose-dependent ↓ -locomotor activity -food intake -social interaction -exploration of new objects Tips to reduce endotoxin: -avoid grains, beans, starches & irritating food additives (gums, carageenan, preservatives) -try a daily raw carrot salad, cooked mushrooms or other insoluble fibers (bind endotoxin in the gut and promote its excretion) -enjoyable, low stress activity (supports blood flow to intestines + dopamine) -get enough carbs (supports thyroid function & intestinal motility, helping clear out intestinal endotoxin) -address B vitamin, ADEK, Zn, Se, Cu, Mg, Ca, K, Na, etc deficiencies if present (required for thyroid & ATP production, cofactors for antioxidant enzymes, suppress stress hormones)

Helen@anomalie_blue

Are you angry & depressed or are you just inflamed? Women injected with bacterial endotoxin showed less empathy for others’ pain (Flasbeck, 2024) & reduced women’s ability to experience pleasure (Eisenberger 2010) In animals, endotoxin induces social withdrawal, anxiety, & depression. Things that increase endotoxin: -High fat meals (especially high PUFA) -Food additives like carrageenan -Alcohol -Starches, soluble fibers & undercooked vegetables -Poor gut motility (fewer bowel movements = reduced clearance of bacteria) -Low vitamin D -Stress (cortisol draws blood away from intestine, which de-energizes epithelial cells, making the gut lining more permeable)

@Elijahkrings @SSavson You tested for methane SIBO/IMO or fungal overgrowth? The latter is excellent at donating CO2 to produce more methane Methane absolutely paralyses the MMC

I still wonder the best approach to the "eating enough" piece. I like eating 3 times a day to support MMC and I feel good, but I know that I miss 1000 calories roughly, as on high feeding days I generally feel different How would you balance this calories vs eating windows thing for a compromised system

“Do you remember the days when the world already knew that there was a Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan and that it was spreading rapidly, but you were not under lockdown yet? An in-between moment when it was clear a catastrophe was coming, but not what it meant. This stage of the US and Israel’s illegal attack on Iran is another such moment. The shock is here. The shockwaves are on their way.” Excellent analysis by @IsabellaMWeber in @NewStatesman
Isabella M Weber@IsabellaMWeber

The world energy shock is coming — it will deepen inequality in ways we've seen before. Our new @newstatesman piece argues that without urgent government action, the Strait of Hormuz crisis will ripple through our economies and rip apart our societies. Here's why. 1/

@cremieuxrecueil When you increase your bodies ability to synthesise ATP and lower inflammation amazing things happen. MOTS-C and SS-31 respectively. Inflammation is known to worsen ADHD. Also - insulin resistance drives leptin resistance, leptin governs orexin. GLP1’s improve insulin.

One of the peptide-related things I love hearing about is when they apparently help people with ADHD Three people have told me their symptoms were alleviated by MOTS-c. One person mentioned SS-31 getting them off Adderall. Hundreds have told me retatrutide and tirzepatide helped

Note my comment earlier today about….leucine. Probably the strongest amino acid inducer of mTorc1 via sestrin2/gator2 signalling leading to autophagy inhibition. This is why amino acids are taken in the second half of the day in Dannick cycle. mtor oscillation, not persistent activation or inhibition is key. Some mtor is good!
Healthspan@healthspanmed

Sarcopenia isn’t just “losing muscle.” It’s the downstream effect of mitochondrial decline, chronic inflammation, impaired protein synthesis, and anabolic resistance. Our Research Review examines how resistance training, multicomponent exercise, protein timing, and leucine optimization help counteract these aging pathways. Preserving muscle may be one of the most actionable longevity strategies we have. gethealthspan.com/research/artic…
