BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Jury, in the case of DC city employee Jason Lewis shooting and killing 13yo Karon Blake, has found Lewis guilty of all charges BUT second degree murder.
So guilty of manslaughter and multiple counts of assault/firearms violations.

The man wanted for the July 4th murder of a 6 year old boy during a 4th of July celebration in Temple Hills has been arrested. 33yo Rakeem Gilgeours was captured by local police in Guyana Monday. He has been returned to the US. More info will be coming this morning

BREAKING: DC police chief says a two year old girl was shot while employees of a daycare were taking her & other children outside for a morning walk.
Suspects had gotten out of a car and opened fire, killing two men and wounding another. The little girl is expected to survive.

Breaking: A woman was shot in the parking lot of this building that houses medical offices. It's not far from iNova Fairfax. Police say it was domestic, and the suspected shooter may have had a protective order against him along with several warrants.
