#Watch Two active citizens from Mumbai's Mulund area were threatened, pushed and one was followed in his building by hawkers after they raised an issue of illegal hawkers creating traffic jams in their lane on Tuesday. What began as an altercation, only changed after citizens started recording their video. In the first video, you'll see a hawker association representative, who pushed a citizen, for recording video, changed his tone and went soft after Nirmal Thakkar started recording his video. In the the second video, a pav seller followed another citizen, Sharad Sejpal, to his building on a bike after he complained about hawkers. When he started recording him, the tone changed completely. Any kind of threats to citizens are unacceptable and should be dealt with strongly. While BMC only acted after this went viral, they have both lodged an NC at the police station.
