Defunding the @USMBDA is a direct attack on innovation, limiting opportunities for talented minorities to contribute to America’s progress. This agency has empowered women entrepreneurs and underserved communities, giving them access to the capital they deserve. Everyone deserves a shot at the American Dream—no one should have their potential stifled by policy decisions. We must stand up and fight to protect this agency, because opportunity and progress should never be stripped away with a single stroke of a pen.

This cannot be overstated: Trump’s latest EO gutting @CDFIFund and the @USMBDA is an all-out assault on economic opportunities for minority-owned businesses and underserved areas. These entities provide resources for marginalized communities to excel. It’s shameful that Trump is only concerned with providing tax breaks to his billionaire buddies.

In 2021 his bill, the “Minority Business Resiliency Act,” was signed into law, codifying @USMBDA, the only fed. agency tasked w/ promoting competitiveness of minority business enterprises, as a permanent fed agency .
