@ASchwenzfeier Where did I say it was a “waste of time”??? Re-read my post. If you troll me, quote me. I am well read on Charlie Francis and he was brilliant, but I don’t endorse tempo or Stanozolol.

@zaidkdahhaj Life or death changes your ‘readiness’ to sprint. This old, tired argument is way too simplistic. Rarely is adrenaline and subsequent sympathetic drive ever mentioned in this comparison.

I’m all for warming up prior to intense training. The point is that you have it in your locker to sprint without needing to prepare for it That’s built into Nature Predators like cheetahs or prey like deer often go from a standstill to full-speed sprints in an instant, driven by necessity, whether hunting or escaping danger Their bodies are naturally primed for explosive movement due to superior elasticity, optimal tendon structure, and constant movement throughout the day It’s no different for human beings The only problem is we’ve domesticated ourselves to a dysfunctional extreme

@zaidkdahhaj wait about 15 years til you reconsider that last one health is relative to age I regularly do 2 hours of zone 2 and do sprint work outs but fuck if I'm gonna sprint cold

These athletes represented Albany at the 2024 Spartan Challenge on Wednesday. They did not disappoint. Took home five medals and 21 personal records. 😤 #GoHuskies

There are no secret training methods. No secret programs. There are zero special gadgets or pieces of equipment. Beyond sport practice, “sport specific training” is a marketing gimmick. Train like an athlete. Train consistently. Train with max effort. Train with your teammates.

Some of our best trail camera footage from last year! We try to keep 300-350 cameras in the woods, which allows us to capture and share neat moments like these. Of course, the primary reason we use cameras is so we can study the 20-21 packs in the Greater Voyageurs Ecosystem.

We don’t seem to see a lot of Nordic hamstring exercise energy like five years ago. I am not losing sleep over this.

Anthony Edward’s on Coach Finch holding everyone accountable If you care about your players, you will hold them to a high standard, regardless of their talent Anything else is doing a disservice to the player and team (Via @Jacobtheclipper 🎥)

These two young NFL Head Coaches get it Mike McDaniel Dan Campbell This level of awareness and knowledge is HIGHLY impressive, especially given their age and it being only their second and third year as a HC Take it from someone that’s been there, the majority of coaching hires are garbage and teams keep recycling the same MFers expecting them to magically reinvent themselves and finally strike gold But kudos to these two They’ve had success at places that have been inept and horrible for so long I hope they continue to have success and will be rooting for them
