@_willcompton Yes...screw not nail. But make sure you don't drill into the stud once you hit it, especially if the drill bit is same size or bigger. It will leave a hole that the screw wont fit in and therefore won't grab the stud.

@BenStandig Analytics doesn't take into account that 50% (maybe more) of the time they are playing with multiple otherG-League players surrounding them. They also are playing in a "tank" rotation that sits them for large chunks of the games - often the entire 4th qtr.

Yeesh to all of this. Not saying the Wizards are headed for title after title or turn into an annual contender, but this downplays what they have and have done. The first-round picks (6) under Winger/Dawkins are all legit. Sarr's significant Year 2 growth shows All-Star potential. Kyshawn is impressively versatile. Tre Johnson, 19, is confident with deep range. Of the six, only George is over 21. Then there is the incoming lottery pick (top 4?) in a loaded draft. AD and Young s/b viewed as assets/ or vets here to help the kids develop more than building blocks. They haven't been lottery lucky for the most part. The process has been near lights out. Analytics apparently doesn't recognize those deets.

@runstats1 @spotrac It's the kick the can strategy. Look at the remaining year cap hits that @spotrac put in the original posts. This is on top of two 60M void years in 2032 and 2033 which will count as dead money. KC is basically sacrificing the later years to try and stay competitive now.

@runstats1 @spotrac Converting base salary to bonus doesn't "rob" the player of money - bonus money is allowed to be spread out over the duration of the contract but is paid up front. So Mahomes still gets his money today, but the cap hits are then divided equally over the remaining years.
