The press are already turning. One little poll bump was inevitable after Burnham evaded press for a month. The bump is purely due to Starmer getting the boot. If this PM thinks the “plan is working”, he’s going to find out, very quickly, how vehemently the public disagree.

There might be a genuine story in here. I don’t know, I’ve not read it. But what I find interesting is the non stop attacks on Reform week after week from The Times. It’s Dan Hodges style relentless. THE RNLI SOLD ITS SOUL!! I stopped donating years ago and I won’t give them another penny. The RNLI was created to save lives at sea in genuine emergencies. It has become a taxi service for illegal small boat crossings. They routinely take migrants on board after the French hand them over just inside British waters. In most cases no one is in real danger. The boats are not sinking. People are not drowning. They are simply being collected and delivered into Britain. A once-respected British charity now plays a central role in facilitating illegal entry. They will eventually launch a glossy PR campaign hoping the public has forgotten. Brits don’t forget. The trust is gone. The reputation is permanently blighted. Charity should never be used as a border-crossing service. Until the RNLI returns to its original purpose, it deserves nothing from the British public.

In less than three months as a councillor, I’ve had people spit at me in the street, shout abuse at me, email me threats, and even have a threatening individual track down my home address and turn up at my house while I was home alone. I’ve also had friends and family cut me off simply because I was elected to public office for @reformparty_uk No matter your politics, this is not acceptable. This is exactly why politicians need proper protection. Disagree with our views all you like; but intimidation, harassment and threats have no place in a democratic society.

@Liam_7812 @ATaylorFPGA @charles_forsyth @BellaWallerstei Toulouse the same. We have an office in Toulouse so I’ve been a lot. The queue to get to the non-Schengen gates for BA flights has always been fairly long depending on whether you get there just before a UK flight leaves.

Some were renowned for it; AMS, CdG, LIS, Warsaw. Ultimately the EES is damaging for them. I won’t go on holiday to the EU until it’s sorted. I can’t be the only one.
