@NUCLRGOLF @BrysonLegion This is not a good long term move. He’s making decent money on YT I’m sure, but you can only do so many formats and if he’s essentially only playing majors, will he really ever be competitive again? And if he performs like he did at Augusta, people will stop watching his channel

🚨👀⛳️ #BREAKING — Bryson DeChambeau says he is prepared to pursue his YouTube channel’s growth and compete in tournaments “that want me” if LIV Golf folds, adding that he has had conversations with the PGA Tour. “I think, from my perspective, I'd love to grow my YouTube channel three times, maybe even more.” “I'd love to do a bunch of dubbing in different languages, giving the world more reason to watch YouTube. And then I'd love to play tournaments that want me.” He admitted that the potential penalties he would face from the PGA Tour would be “quite unfortunate in my opinion, considering what I could do for them.” “I was completely shocked (on PlF pullout), I didn't expect it to happen. A couple months before that, it's like, 'We're here until 2032. We've got financing until 2032, and so I told everybody, and that's what I was told.” “And then, you know, I haven't had any communication. And unfortunately, things are moving on in a different direction. Obviously, they wanted to move.” "There's a few different models (on LIV future). Look, the PGA Tour isn't doing great either. Let's be honest about the situation. They've got the media.” “They've got everybody on the side that helps pump it up. But they're reducing field sizes, cutting employees, and restructuring their business too.” @BrysonLegion (Via: @espn)

College football coaches have come out in favor of ending conference title games, starting the playoff earlier so we finish the season by the second Monday in January, and support an expanded playoff, likely 24 teams. Honestly, I think they are on the right track here.

The coaches have spoken: In a vote last week, the AFCA Board swung its support behind (1) a playoff with the max participants (likely 24); (2) discontinuing conference championships; and (3) ending CFP by second week of January, they tell @YahooSports. bit.ly/4talivj

@chxnluh It was $100 for the first couple seasons… that’s the same as the Braves this year. That’s not that much at all for an entire season. I’ve also stopped caring but it’s been more because ATLUTD has been awful and not fun to watch and has absolutely nothing to do with Apple TV

Went to Ticketmaster right at 4:00 when Sixers tickets “went on sale”. The CHEAPEST seat for Sunday was $348. There’s no such thing anymore as “tickets go on sale at X o’clock.” It’s instantly a resale market. Everyone at @Ticketmaster belongs in jail.

Missed a few starts in 24 Missed 12 starts in 25 From 2019-2023 17-18 with a 4.16 ERA, made 56 starts The voice of reason forgetting context Excluding the pandemic year from 2019-2023, Sale missed at least 76 starts Trading away a pitcher who was injury plagued and 35 was to start the 24 season was the smart move

The Atlanta Braves pulled off one of the biggest thefts in baseball history, courtesy of the Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox sent Chris Sale + $17,000,000 cash to Atlanta in exchange for a prospect that hasn't panned out. In the 2+ years in Atlanta Chris Sale is 31-9, won a Cy Young, and has yet to have higher than a 2.58 ERA. INCREDIBLE TRADE.

Enough is enough. It is time to bring back the REAL Tomahawk Chop. @Braves @MLB Bring back the song. Bring back the giant drum. This was the most electric thing in baseball and woke nonsense took this from us all.

How about giving 8 more teams and their players the experience of playing in the @MarchMadnessMBB tournament. It's terrible isn't it. It's going to ruin college basketball. Really. Please.

More: Opening round will be split between at-large + auto bids, expanding out current First Four format. All 16-seeds and half the 15s will be slotted into the Tuesday/Wednesday of the opening round. The other half will be a mix depending on team quality. 11s, 12s and maybe a 13.

The men's + women's NCAA Tournaments are expected to formally pass approval for expansion to 76 teams in May, sources told CBS Sports. The move to 76 would mean 52 teams would auto-slot into the main bracket and 12 games for 24 teams Tues/Wed for a rebuilt opening round. Story TK

Miami defeated a TOTAL of 5 draft picks during conference play. Vanderbilt defeated a TOTAL of 30 draft picks during conference play. The committee MUST STOP allowing teams with NO RESUME in the playoff for the sake of “conference diversity.”

BRENNAN: The alleged shooter had multiple weapons. In DC, open carry is not permitted. You just said he traveled from California across the country by train. How did he do that? BLANCHE: This isn't about in my mind changing the law, or making the laws more restrictive around firearms BRENNAN: I'm asking about crossing state lines with firearms BLANCHE: I don't think that's something we should be focused on

@bleep23_4 @atrupar @charise_lee Why? Anyone can drive a car across state lines. Criminals will break laws no matter what. We know this. The only reason crossing state lines is an issue is because of the states with BS anti gun laws. Everyone should be able to travel with their guns if they want to

@atrupar @charise_lee So Blanche doesn’t want to focus on what could be used as a means of domestic terrorism? Like someone could just travel across state lines with public transportation unchecked. This is alarming

All the bellyaching last week about the Par 3 and the shame of "influencers" on the course came from stuffy folks and just look at the TV numbers all week. No Tiger or Phil and no problem.
