I’d like to make something very clear, I have never asked LIV Golf to interview Bryson DeChambeau. A senior member of the LIV Golf communications team actually threatened my credential in Hong Kong in 2024, and limited my access. I’ve never been on a pre tournament player call, I don’t have inside the ropes access like most journalists, and my requests to speak to players I don’t have phone numbers for have been mostly ignored. All the conversations I have are from relationships built up directly with the player themselves. I’ve had 4 years of people trying to discredit me from all angles. But luckily the only thing that matters is what the players actually think and telling the story in their own words. Thanks for everyone who has been supportive over that time. Target 5000 Community by 28th January Good morning, Smarters! ☀️ I keep thinking of ways to get the word out about The Smarter Web beyond our little Bitcoin corner here in the UK. Most folk outside our circle still haven't a clue what we're building. Since January 2nd we've climbed 54% in share price, from mNAV 0.69 to 1.03. That's real progress, folks. Proper execution. Bitcoin on the balance sheet doing its job. This needs shouting from the rooftops. But here's the honest bit: our community hasn't really grown since October. We've been holding steady with the same core crew posting, liking, commenting—maybe 50-70 active voices out of thousands holding or watching. That's not enough if we want this to break out properly. We've all seen what happens when more people get involved: sentiment lifts, visibility grows, volume follows. We've had green runs lately, but the contributor numbers are still way too low. Come on, we can change that. It's easy to just sit back, read the posts, and nod along. But this is your investment too. We've all got skin in the game. We need more noise: more likes, more comments, more reposts. You should also follow regular posters. Their posts should appear on your timeline. Or we could all just get stuck in and do it ourselves? Let's flood the timeline a bit, orange-pill your mates, tag folks who should know, share why you're holding. The sooner we get the message out wide, the sooner awareness grows, the sooner that ATM really fires up, and the sooner we stack even more Bitcoin. It's in our hands. I hold my shares with Hargreaves Lansdown - I simply log in and use the “Shareholder meetings” section to vote online. The process is similar with most major brokers. I strongly believe the resolution is in the best interests of all shareholders and would greatly appreciate your support. The meeting itself will be brief and limited to formal business, so voting online is the best way to take part. Our AGM will be announced in due course and that will be a good opportunity for us to all meet up.

How I learnt about income investing and where I started: Save this post. When I first started investing about 4-5 years ago I was a complete noob. I had no idea what I was doing. I bought the very simple funds like the S&P500. Things that most people have heard of. I had no idea i was doing it right. Over that first year I got more curious about what was available to invest in and whether I should be buying other things. I use @Trading212 and I spent hours going through ETF’s and stocks. I then came across funds like $JEPQ by JPMorgan and it was at a dividend yield of 10%. How is this yield so high? Why isn’t everyone investing in it? This is where the journey started up until now. I then spent time understanding how these sorts of funds generate the high yields. They do it though “Options”selling and “covered calls”. This right here is what I’d encourage you to research if you’re new and curious. Use google, YouTube, ChatGPT, here on X. Understand the pro’s and con’s and allocate funds accordingly based on your risk tolerance. These funds aren’t like the S&P500 where dividends are paid based on a companies performance. These funds earn income regardless of performance. All the funds I hold are in my pinned tweet so go and check that out. Everything is available on the internet. Stop being incompetent and do the research. Lmk questions 👇🏽

I have a serious question/theory for those members who are cleverer than me, namely @asjwebley @ZynxBTC @ScottishHodler @BitcoinBee21 etc (apologies if I’d didn’t tag you, doesn’t mean I consider you an imbecile, I just have a crap memory for usernames) I have a theory that a so called domino effect is happening where educated investors jump into new BTC treasury companies to make high percentage gains for a short period before dumping the stock and moving on to an even newer treasury company. As Adam Back’s excellent “days to cover mNAV metric” seems to indicate, the newer BTC treasury companies (if managed sensibly) cover their mNAV much quicker than, for example, MSTR and therefore have comparatively higher percentage gains in their early days. As we’ve seen over the last few days, MSTR investors (myself included) are dumping some/all of their shares to pile into the likes of Metaplanet and #SWC to take advantage of the much faster growth. So, as far as the @smarterwebuk is concerned, being the first mover is definitely an advantage to the company (congrats Andrew). However, am I right in thinking that from an aggressive investor viewpoint, there is actually a LAST mover advantage to be had by piling into newer treasury companies to exploit that initial launch gain? I do not plan on doing this myself, I’m just thinking about the broader investor consensus and how it may affect the share price of #SWC over the next few months as more UK companies join in. Any thoughts? By the way, my whippet came up with this theory, not me. His high protein diet gives him a cerebral advantage.
