Today in New Delhi, I met with Secretary (East) Periasamy Kumaran of India’s Ministry of External Affairs to discuss ways to advance our Special Strategic Partnership. This marks our second meeting in just over a month, following the 6th ROK-India Foreign Policy and Security Dialogue in Seoul. I sincerely appreciate Secretary Kumaran’s warm hospitality. I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. S. Jaishankar (@DrSJaishankar), India’s Minister of External Affairs. We exchanged views on the outcomes of the earlier meeting with Secretary Kumaran and the path forward. Our governments will continue working closely to unlock the full potential of bilateral cooperation across a wide range of areas, including through high-level exchanges this year.
