Honored to speak at @SACSConference on the role of the vascular surgeon in adult congenital heart disease (ACHD). As this population grows, complex aortic and vascular pathology demands multidisciplinary collaboration. The future of ACHD care is a team sport. @Jorge_AlegriaMD

🆕 JUST PUBLISHED 🆕 The European Society for Vascular Surgery has published updated Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Management of Vascular Graft and Endograft Infections, succeeding the 2020 edition. These evidence-based guidelines, complemented by expert opinion, provide comprehensive and up-to-date guidance to support clinical decision-making in daily practice. Eighty-one recommendations have been issued across the following main topics: definitions, diagnosis, multidisciplinary team management, antimicrobial therapy, management of intracavity or extracavity VGEI, and follow up. A chapter addresses the concept of shared decision making, with supporting information for patients. And at the end, a final chapter addresses unresolved issues. 👉 Read the full guidelines on ejves.com/article/S1078-… @XavierBerardMD @IVanherzeele @AWanhainen @robhinchliffe1 @Jonnyboyle1 @VenerMa @EJVES_ESVS
