📌 ‘Museveni seems to have a vengeance on Uganda, as if the country was unkind to him and must pay for his suffering. No one can do what Museveni has done to Uganda unless they have a score to settle.’
Everytime a disaster like Kiteezi happens, I go back and read about the “Museveni Bargain”, a neologism by @cobbo3 in his instructive article on the 2018 party boat disaster.

We must also get our strategic communication right; you cannot ‘safely’ return from an ally country, joined at the hip, where you were invited by the head of state 😓😓
@kasyate Absolutely right. Where I sit, we discuss actionable solutions, small, medium and big, we must account for what didn’t work in the next meeting.
My boss the Rt Hon Speaker of Parliament @AnitahAmong, thank you for acknowledging the importance of peaceful demonstration and the constitutional rights of citizens. Your willingness to listen to Ms. Nansubuga's concerns is a commendable gesture. It's essential for leaders to engage with their citizens and hear their voices. By doing so, you demonstrate a commitment to accountability and transparency. We look forward to seeing more of such leadership, where citizens' voices are valued and their concerns addressed. Keep championing the principles of democracy and citizen participation!
I have seen reports about Ms Fatuma Nansubuga, who was allegedly arrested on my orders and subsequently imprisoned at Luzira Prison for demonstrating outside Parliament premises. I am pleased to hear that she has been released on bail.
Peaceful demonstration is a constitutional right, and I look forward to listening to her concerns. I am a firm believer in the right of citizens to hold leaders accountable, just like Ms Nansubuga was doing. I have a duty to, in due course, engage and listen to her concerns.

@nickopiyo Spitting truth. We gave up, both leaders and us citizens gave up. Sometimes I wonder, how bad will it get. Will the system crash? When? Since we don’t know, what can we do to turn this around for better?
I do not know who she is, but I think she has an important message for all Ugandans, especially the young ones. If you know her, please share with me her contact privately. I'd like to talk to her.
.@TugumeNelsonO: All my businesses, I have actually started them with no money, it has been about the idea, passion, and dream. Do not wait for everything to come together. I think you will never start or fail to start because of that.
