You need to be DAD MAXING. You need to be waking up at 0545 on a Saturday to hit the gym and then coming back to wake up your wife and kids by blasting Creed while making breakfast. You need to be dethatching your lawn. You need to clean your car and then stare at it in the driveway for half an hour. You need to be telling your kids that Jerusalem belongs to those who worship Christ. You need to be treating Easter Sunday like superbowl Sunday. You need to be absolutely mogging childless heathens with peak DAD power moves, as God intended.

Are they playing a long-term/survival game or a short-term/destruction game? There are blind spots for both strategies. Survival is about more than canned beans and destruction is about more than range time. Measured reason doesn’t seem to be a priority so there are likely systematic weaknesses, but I also wonder if I’m wrong about that.

Whenever I post something about the threat the current radical left faction of this country poses I always get a lot of replies from people who think the fact that the right has the majority of gun owners makes the whole thing a foregone conclusion as if just having the guns is enough. I think underestimating them is a bigger risk than overestimating them. The serious leftist groups have international funding, direct action groups with actual training and organization, documented accounts of overseas training with terrorists and they have multiple commie gun clubs around the country where they train and actually take shooting seriously. They’re definitely enough of a threat to not be shrugged off as a non issue.

I’m being as truthful as I can with my limited knowledge of a long and complex history. As far as I can tell, over that long history, both parties have played provocateur. I have no dog in this fight, I’m a Christian American and I hope the tragedy ends swiftly but seems unlikely. Murder is wrong.
