@Kirby0Louise Microsoft is changing the xinput soon, they announced that they'll use a different api. Xinput is obsolete, and soon won't even be a Microsoft standard. So most likely not worth to give It support. The new api is called gameinput btw. You can add game to Steam or use SISR anyway.

At $100 this should always work out of the box. There's no reason a fallback XInput mode can't exist when 8BitDo has been doing this since forever.

@HkonMk @dandorf22 Literally this. With resources THAT THE GAME GIVES YOU (though you have to look hard for some) you can completely and totally clown the hardest bosses. This is just as valid as choosing the hard mode of STR-only greatsword builds. It's a game. Play it in a way that you find FUN.

I feared Arc Raiders success would struggle to push content fast enough. One map by April is not great. The arc threats and conditions are a nice to have but I don't think that's enough really to tide it over

Is it just me or did the first ARC Raiders Patch of 2026 feel very... underwhelming? Dont get me wrong, i am happy that we are getting updates again and that Embark tried to fix two problems without making Kettle and Trigger Nade completely useless. But i think alot of people expected more then just the adjustment of two numbers and a mediocre Skin-Set. - None of the bigger exploits that are currently present in the game has been adressed (example: Stella Montis Wall Glitching) - Stitcher, Il Torro and Venator still dominate PvP fights, other guns feel pretty useless - Quests still feel pointless and repetetive, especially after the Expedition (no XP, no worthy rewards) - No QoL Improvements What i want to say is, there are enough things that needs to be done that are NOT new content. Take your time with the new stuff, but adress and fix the stuff thats a problem since weeks. I think many people were hoping for just a little bit more, then what we got. We are also missing a roadmap - and while releasing the first one right after release felt really good, not having one now for Q1 feels odd.

@TheRooster Cheaters even though people hate them, are the ones fighting back corporate greed. If companies are able to scam their customers then its fair for some of the customers to fight back in the form of cheating. Unfortunately arc raiders is caught in the crossfire
