One of the most important books to conceptionally understand the world today. If anything it has become much more relevant since its publication in 2010.

Revenue Officials Among 10 Arrested in ₹100 Crore Land Scam Targeting Adichunchanagiri Trust Bengaluru The #Bengaluru City Police have arrested multiple individuals, including revenue officials, in connection with a massive land scam involving fake documents to usurp six acres of land worth over ₹100 crore belonging to the Sri #Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust. According to police, out of the 45 acres of land situated at Sr. No. 43 in Kambipura Village, Kengeri Hobli, #BengaluruSouth Taluk, the accused Francis colluded with revenue staff to illegally claim ownership of six acres. He falsely asserted that the land had been granted to one Arogyaswamy Bin Anthony under the ex-servicemen quota in 1960–61. Posing as Arogyaswamy’s heir, Francis fabricated a family tree, death certificate, cultivation grant certificate, and other records to register the Khata in his name. He then trespassed onto the Trust’s property, sparking a dispute. Following a complaint filed on June 10, 2026, by the Trust’s Secretary at Kumbalgodu Police Station, a case was registered , invoking multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023.A multi-dimensional investigation by Kengeri Police led to the arrest of Francis Arogyaswamy, Srinivasu, Narendrakumar and Jospen, along with Revenue Department officials: Deputy Tahsildars Deepak and M.P. Ravi; Revenue Inspectors Kiran Kumar and Arun Kumar; and Village Administrative Officers Shivaprasad and Satish Kumar. All have been remanded to judicial custody. Police said the alleged mastermind, Arogyaswamy, along with Naresh Gowda and revenue staff members Srikanth, Manjunath and Raghavendra, remain absconding. Police also uncovered evidence suggesting the accused attempted similar fraudulent takeovers of other properties using forged documents. Further investigation is underway. @DCPSOUTHWESTBCP @BlrCityPolice @DrParameshwara
