Under an IMD yellow alert, extreme heat in Mumbai is causing dehydration and collapse among birds and animals, raising concern among rescuers and veterinarians. Rescue teams and citizens are stepping in, treating affected animals and urging simple measures like shade, water, and timely help to prevent deaths during the heatwave.

I request 🙏 and hope they (BMC) maintains the new fleet. The existing fleet looks horrendous and such poorly maintained. With Mumbai seeing vehicle upgrades in Mumbai Police and Mumbai Municipality, I urge the departments to learn from Mumbai Fire Brigade department on how they maintain their vehicles so remarkably. #Mumbai @richapintoi @somitsenTOI

Footpath near Sagar Tech Plaza, Andheri Kurla Road is in poor condition. Fallen tree branches, debris, and garbage are blocking the walkway, causing inconvenience and safety risk for pedestrians. Request @mybmc to kindly take immediate action & clean the area at the earliest.
