These two photos were taken 17 months apart, and they couldn't be any different for me to look at. The one on the left was the month before I left the Police. I wasn't in a good place. I'd been betrayed by people who should have known better and I struggled to accept this. I was bitter, angry, and lost. The one on the right was today. A happy and free person, simply enjoying the life I have built for myself, and grateful for the opportunities I've been given. It feels good to not be feeling like the person on the left anymore.
