Can Ekitike become a world-class striker??? His on-ball ability says yes. But he must improve off-ball: currently lacks work rate & top movement, disappears too often in games. Seen as luxury player by some currently — his big-match record seems to supports this 👇 0 G/A vs Inter, Arsenal, Man City (both legs), Real Madrid, Aston Villa, Man Utd, Chelsea, Atlético, Galatasaray (x2)

Give him an interim role until the end of the season. The players will die for him. He will bring the atmosphere back and will be super motivated to bring the energy and tell players what it means to fight for this club. With him in charge we could win UCL and FA Cup easily.

If I saw this at u10 level I'd be tearing my hair out. Neither Jones or Mac Allister communicate to manage the run right beside them. They know it's there, but neither are diligent enough to take responsibility to manage it. Blaming Alisson is missing the point entirely. 😡

Didn't deserve loss. - Need top #6 in summer. Gravenberch jogging, Szobo tracking back, Ekitike slow to recover, Salah disengaged. Liverpool let teams run through midfield far too easily. That’s on Arne Slot and coaching setup

Wirtz - Ekitike - Elliott Jones - Gravenberch - Szoboszlai Kerkez - Virgil - Konaté - Frimpong Alisson It solves everything. Trust me. Gakpo and Salah off the bench when we need a goal but Elliott for the first 65 mins of matches, playing for his career, killing himself pressing, linking up smartly in the half-spaces, getting into positions to show off his excellent finishing in tight areas....

Guéhi debacle alone should put Edwards & Hughes under serious pressure. Can we now agree Michael Edwards is one of the most overhyped Sporting Directors ever? Pre-Klopp, he was a laughing stock among fans; since return, he & Hughes have been a shambles. Klopp made Edwards look like a genius when the reality is Klopp elevated everyones reputations who worked with him. Lijnders & Edwards being prime examples of this.
