The UK Today: The Observer front page: "The Sound of Silence: More than 400 arrested at a peaceful protest in support of Palestine Action." Meanwhile the so called free speech advocates of the British right remain silent or support this new authoritarianism.

The Reverend Sue Parfitt, an 83-year-old retired Anglican priest from Bristol, was among 20 people arrested in London today "on suspicion" of supporting Palestine Action. Am I allowed to say she's a hero, or is that banned too? She's a hero. Please share if you agree.

And the Brize Norton action could be prosecuted under existing laws on criminal damage etc. Proscription is unnecessary and wrong.

@DefendourJuries They broke into a RAF Air Force Base and sabotaged military assets and have also caused intentional damage to businesses they've decided they don't like. Millions of dollars in deliberate damage whilst supporting the terrorist entity Hamas. No amount of singing changes that.

@drrhianelinor Post-92s inherited the Natfe agreement and only represent academic staff while Unison represents PS staff. @UCUNUbranch cannot act for ARPS staff. They've had a fantastic success defending UCU members jobs and suggesting they may be backing down is rather unfair, don't you think?
