I would skip school to watch not only the Cardinals on opening day but all the games I could. Great atmospheres, learning all the new players on other teams. It was always a great day. Shame that MLB hates baseball.

Major League Baseball HATES traditional Opening Day. The league tries to force-feed fans Opening Night games and international games, marketed as "marquee events." But what they fail to realize is – Opening Day *is* the marquee event.
