No shit! And who's data is it when it is aggregated and processed? It's like signing off on the Port of Darwin but a whole lot worse.

I’m super worried the @AustralianLabor government is locking us into this incredibly dangerous defence surveillance tech system with Palantir contracts.

This is absolutely ridiculous. It is well outside the remit of the royal commission, which should only be investigating things that happened before it was established. This is overreach and shows that the RC will be a witch hunt, not an inquiry.

@SenPaterson’s decision to refer the @SydneySwans to the Royal Commission into antisemitism and Social Cohesion is just helping to ramp up anti-Jewish sentiment and further break down Australian social cohesion. The Sydney Swans may or may not have thought through the changes in their commentary, but their decision to be inclusive was the right one. Why? 1) There was a non-Jewish person murdered in the attack. 2) There were non-Jewish people injured, including Ahmed al-Ahmed, a Muslim man who is regarded as a hero and, in all likelihood, helped limit the number of murders and injuries. 3) Volunteer surf lifesavers and Waverley Council lifeguards were among those who rushed into the scene to provide first aid while the shooting was still active. Some were treated for shock or minor injuries related to the attack. Many of them were not Jews. 4) The NSW Police Officers, who responded well and were involved in a horrendous situation, many of whom risked their lives to limit the number of murders and injuries. Many of them were not Jews. 5) The NSW Ambulance Paramedics, who responded quickly and risked their lives attending to those injured and respectfully responding to the deceased. Many of them were not Jews. 6) The hospital staff, from administrators, nurses, doctors and other health professionals who had to stand up emergency response teams across various hospitals throughout Sydney, and had to deal with the trauma patients arriving. Many of them were not Jews. 7) Those people on the beach and in other areas who had to run for their lives and find safety to avoid being killed. Many of them were not Jews. 8) There are probably others that I have forgotten, so I apologise in advance. Many of them are likely not to be Jews. So @senatorpaterson, my advice is to write to the Royal Commission and withdraw your letter of referral; write to the Sydney Swans and the @AFL to apologise for your actions, which decreased social cohesion and were offensive; and further issue a formal statement widely available to the public to apologise for your actions. #Auspol2026 #MourningSydneyBondiVictims @albomp @SenatorWong @DavidShoebridge @ajamesbragg @jeromelaxale

ARE YOU FUCKIN KIDDING ME? Referred to the antisemitism board for NOT mentioning jews…??? “As we mentioned on Saturday night, in statements from both our chairman and CEO, we were made aware that our on-field tribute neglected to specifically name the Jewish community” These people want a jewish smoking ceremony honouring the Jewish elders past present and future…. 😂😂😂

@RobbieBarwick A liquid fuel emergency should have been declared on 1 March 2026 As soon it became clear that the Strait of Hormuz was closed Entirely foreseeable that a fuel supply shortfall was coming Impossible for it not to

The very definition of insanity. The AFL does a respectful 1 minute silence tribute to the Bondi victims but because they didn't scream & shout that it was an antisemitic attack, James Paterson a senator NOT from NSW refers the AFL to the Royal Commission for being antisemitic.

So the NACC finds Morrison not responsible for the unlawful Robodebt scheme, a disaster that inflicted misery on thousands of innocent Australians. Some died. Under the Westminster system, ministers ARE responsible. That’s what they’re for. Astounding.

This, from a former Indian Foreign Minister, is the best thing I have read on the torpedoing of the Iranian frigate…
Nirupama Menon Rao 🇮🇳@NMenonRao

There are moments in war that pierce through the abstractions of strategy and power. The sinking of the Iranian warship Dena in the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean is one such moment. A ship far from its home waters, sailors far from their families, suddenly consigned to the deep, dark silence of the sea. Whatever the legality of war, the image is haunting: young men swallowed by an ocean that knows nothing of geopolitics. The Indian Ocean has always been, for me, a space of memory, trade, music, and human exchange — not a graveyard of sailors lost to distant rivalries. That an Iranian vessel returning from naval exercises could meet such a fate so far from its shores feels like something from another age, almost like a War of the Worlds moment where the machinery of war intrudes upon the human world with brutal indifference. One cannot help but think of the families waiting for news that will never come, of the letters unwritten, of lives ended beneath cold waters thousands of miles from home. Strategy may justify such acts. Law may permit them. But the ocean keeps its own counsel. It reminds us that every war, however rationalised, leaves behind human sorrow in its wake. The question lingers uneasily: for what purpose were these lives lost in the depths of a faraway sea? #IndianOcean #WarAndHumanity #RememberTheSailors

Should Aust get involved in the Middle East again? Surely any decision to send the ADF into this war should go to parliament to be debated and voted on. #warpowers #auspol abc.net.au/news/2026-03-0…

US: “It was a preemptive attack on Iran” Pentagon: “No sign that Iran was going to attack first” US: “No but if Israel attacked Iran, then Iran would have attacked us, so we preemptively attacked them first” 🤡 This is beyond satire.

1. This is scary as hell: 🇺🇸 "service members report “unrestricted euphoria” among segments of the chain of command portraying the assault on Iran as biblically sanctioned" x.com/i/status/20287…
The Cradle@TheCradleMedia

US troops report commanders framing Iran war as ‘God’s plan’ —— As first reported by independent journalist Jonathan Larsen, a US combat-unit commander told non-commissioned officers that the war on Iran is part of “God’s divine plan,” allegedly claiming President Donald Trump was “anointed by Jesus” to ignite Armageddon. The complaint, filed with the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, is one of more than 110 logged within 48 hours from over 40 units across at least 30 installations. Complainants, including Christians, a Muslim, and a Jew, have requested anonymity to avoid retaliation. The Pentagon has yet to respond. According to MRFF President Mikey Weinstein, service members report “unrestricted euphoria” among segments of the chain of command portraying the assault on Iran as biblically sanctioned and tied to end-times prophecy in the Book of Revelation. One NCO wrote that such rhetoric is eroding morale and violating constitutional oaths, particularly for troops in Ready-Support status who could be deployed at any moment. The controversy unfolds as Secretary of War Pete Hegseth expands overt evangelical programming within the Pentagon, including prayer sessions and Bible studies aligned with staunch pro-Israel theology. Weinstein reports that many US commanders appear particularly enthused by the prospect of an intensely violent confrontation, emphasizing how much bloodshed they believe is necessary to align events with a fundamentalist Christian end-times narrative.
