Thank you for the clarifications. I understand very well both side of the problem. Community are too poor to afford band A and the discos are trying to ramp up revenue and control cost. Its a clash of interest. The underlying factor here is that, as our electricity improves, no one would escape the band A tariff rate because its a strategy to phase out subsidy introduced by this govt. As for kaduna, I'm sure if the Community is downgraded, then they may likely provide them with the least supply of service. It is difficult situation indeed but poor purchasing power is the root cause here.

We can't eat our cake and have it. When people can't afford something, its not the commodity's problem alone, its our earning power. We seek increase in wages, not berating the product. On twitter - everyone can afford On reality - everyone complains

@HabuSadeik A month back , Electrification committee in core Millenium city( kadaure and Dan bushiya) met with Community leaders after series of complaints about high rate of bills and recharge units. Most of people in Kadaure and Dan bushiya can't afford band A.
