Independence and reparations for the Puerto Rican people is a necessary position in the larger fight to dismantle U.S. empire. Same goes for Guam, Hawai’i, American Samoa, and all other lands and peoples occupied by the U.S. colonial project.

They have such unyielding trust in institutions that they think there’s no possible way any arm of the state would ever wrongly prosecute, shoot, or jail someone. They think they are totally insulated from any misapplication of the law because they’re the “right kind” of American. They think a system that lashes out in all directions against its perceived enemies would never come after them too. They have no independent thought or sense of autonomy. They worship power while simultaneously believing they are heterodox thinkers who need to be armed to protect themselves against the government they so vociferously defend. Total serf mindset.
