Nigel Farage took £5 MILLION from a billionaire just before announcing his run to be an MP. But he didn’t declare it. Even though the rules are clear.   Another reminder of how close Farage is to the rich and powerful - despite his claim to speak for ordinary people.

Why the hell am I working for this? More than 600,000 households now get more on benefits than the average full‑time worker takes home in pay. That’s not a safety net, that’s a parallel income system that punishes the mug who gets up, goes to work and hands half back in tax. You do the right thing, slog 40 hours a week, watch PAYE and NI rip through your payslip – and the state calmly tells you that your hard‑earned money is there to fund a lifestyle that outstrips your own. At some point i have to ask: why bother? Why break my back just to be taxed to the hilt so the Government can hand out packages that beat my wage packet? The point to ask myself is now.

@BBCr4today 15000 stabbings in London last year. Can someone explain the difference between some of these stabbings, why some are terrorism and others barely investigated? I'm going to see a lady today being terrorised because she's African. Police say she should move house.
