For some reason Poori-Aalu in a lunchbox tastes far better than the same served in a plate. After a few hours in the tiffin box, in times of darkness, like humans, the pooris unite & stick to each other. And then when you open the box, you have to peel off one poori from the other. Then you look for that spice laden Aalu to pick up. It isn’t hot anymore, yet Hunger is the secret ingredient that makes it tastier. Often the Aalu gets over while there’r still couple of pooris left, blame it on the super jeera aalu or the capacity of the tiffin. You get a bit sad, then suddenly you lift the last poori up, and Voila! you find it. A slobbery slice of mango pickle. You thought it isn’t there, but then it shows up, beneath the bottom poori smearing its base. 🥲

He smiled and said, “That’s enough.” Within minutes he recalculated the fare. The final amount was almost 25% lower. Around ₹6,000 cheaper. I genuinely stood there wondering how millions of people investing in stocks never talk about benefits like this. Most people only discuss stock prices going up and down. Nobody talks about the hidden perks attached to some companies. Later I told a few friends about it. None of them believed me initially. Now almost all of them own IHCL shares and use the discount whenever they travel. What’s one hidden perk or benefit that sounds fake but is actually real?

A long (25+ km) tunnel is being planned for the Mumbai - Pune - Hyderabad HSR (bullet train) route to cross the Border Ghat area. Such a long tunnel is needed to keep the gradient low (around 2 percent). We should simultaneously build a parallel tunnel for regular (semi high speed) rail traffic as well. This is critical for regular intercity service between Pune and Mumbai and intermediate towns. We should explore if building this tunnel along with the HSR tunnel can help us in reducing costs, efforts? cc @AshwiniVaishnaw @drmpune @Central_Railway @Dev_Fadnavis
