The @WeAreNIMD Country Director to #Somalia, Abdijalil Tahir @Afqarshe2 with his team @Abdirahman_Gaas & Najah recently paid a courtesy visit to the @SONSA_NSA office. During the visit, they engaged in-depth discussions regarding the current political climate in the country.
On 16 January, our Director, @MahadWasuge, and Deputy Director, @FarhanShabel, received @Afqarshe2, the @WeAreNIMD Country Director, and his colleagues, Dr. Mohamed Gaas and Najax. We discussed potential collaborations in areas of mutual interest.
It was a historic and great time that I was among the first batch of the UPEACE PhD. Africa program. I would like to thank UPEACE Director for Africa Dr. Samuel, and other professors who participated in this long journey of study. Proud of a number of my colleagues here.
