Marina Sirtis says no Hollywood studio will make Star Trek: Legacy: "Legacy is never going to happen. You know, you hate hearing the truth. There is not a single studio in America that is going to make a series where most of the leading actors are over 70 years old. I’m sorry, but just that’s just the truth. It’s just Hollywood. ... @davepl1968 I don't think I have ASD, but I saw it as powers of 2 minus one.

There are (at least) two ways to approach this, and based on nothing at all but conjecture and speculation, I think people with ASD will approach it differently than neurotypical people. I think neurotypical people will double the current number and add one. So 2x7+1 = 15, for example. I think people with ASD will intuitively "see" that each number is one less than a power of 2. The sequence then simply becomes 2^N-1. So, did you just "feel" it? Or did you go recursive and solve it computationally? Or some other means? Let me know! Just FWIW, they're mathematically equivalent:

This is how female biology works. I was stressed out all day. My heart rate was between 120-130. And then I had to figure out how to turn my water off and change a water filter in my fridge. I was already very stressed out, so the extra challenge on to of the stress made me cry. I then cried again for unrelated reasons. My heart rate is now 75 (about 10 above my normal resting). Crying reduces stress. It lowers cortisol and releases oxytocin and endorphins.

It's too bad Hollywood is at a creative nadir, but that just means I can enjoy great stuff from the last 30 years, including Stargate SG-1!
