The only thing I’ll do outside discussing useless things like “sex, who banged who, who supported who”, is to correct one historical misrepresentation in as far as it relates to #March2Parliament and the immediate aftermath. It appears that the NGO Mafia had looked at that March as their best hope to cause riots and regime change so my preaching of a different approach got all this vitriol started against me. I can take it, I’m a big boy. What I find hard to take are the constant lies being fed to the masses that somehow these NGOs, #OutrageMerchants, activists didn’t request for financial help from the Europeans. The same outrage merchants writing essays to deny their involvement were in meetings and WhatsApp groups, eager to sign up as referees for the activists who were leading the march. It was essentially a pay for play arrangement, just like what we are witnessing here. When @KagutaMuseveni said these were sponsored activities, it wasn’t without proof. I shall not name the individuals or organizations involved, except perhaps to say that @chapterfourug was one of the liaison organizations and that the very #OutrageMerchant who suddenly saw another opportunity to drag me-for frustrating their well orchestrated election period attacks-was one of the references. These activists would otherwise have never gotten emails of embassy staff on “human rights” desks or even heard back. If you doubt, try and write any embassy a cold email looking for funding. The stuff in this world works on personal relationships built with these actors. Basically just like the nepotism and influence peddling we see in government.
