@CoachFHM I’d be there all day if I did that. And I’d have to eat like 6 times! Hell when I train with my team it might take us an hour to get to our top set on our main lift.

10+ exercises in a workout is a telltale sign your training is shite. Too much fluff with not enough intensity at all. Pick 4-6 exercises and train them hard. That’s what really works.

We’ve had rabbits living under our shed year after year Drives my dogs crazy… Spike hunts them everyday - but never successful Till this morning… No idea how he caught it… but poor little rabbit was still warm when I disposed of him Spike was proud

@AJA_Cortes Not really related, but in school they used to always harp on us if we didn’t go to the cafeteria and eat breakfast. Even in high school. Mom (a teacher) told me later that it was because school meals were the only meals about 85% of the kids in our county would get that day.

Squatting and deadlifting in running shoes should be banned. You can’t produce as much force. Deadlifts - Deadlift slippers, socks barefoot, flats. Squats - Heeled squat shoes, flats, barefoot, socks.

There’s definitely been an increase in the popularity of powerlifting the last few years. Ain’t a bad thing at all. People following structured plans with effective movements is what we wanna see. Beats rolling around the gym with a bosu ball.

@CoachFHM I think the pivot from geared to raw made it more appealing to a larger audience. Squatting 900 in a multilayered Kevlar suit and only out of a monilift. Vs. Squatting 500 with just a belt and some sleeves out of commercial gym rack.

“Too big” Means you can’t wipe your ass, tie your own shoes, and walking up the stairs is a traumatic event. Most will NEVER get there without anabolic assistance. Some get there from being too overweight though.

Avoid too much fat in your pre workout meal. Will take longer to digest and can leave you feeling bloated, nauseous etc. Heavy on the carbs, moderate protein and lower fat for me.

@CoachFHM Best thing I’ve done is build a powerlifting team and buy some decent bars. We travel our area, couple years at one gym, couple years at another, bringing our bars with us. Gym members and environments change. What’s good one year may suck the next. We bring our own vibe.

@ryanrpark I worked with a guy that drank one of those a day. Turns out it was to hide the sheer amount of booze he was drinking each day at work. Another guy would bring in five 2 liters of Dr Pepper every Monday morning and drink one a day for the week. He also had “medical problems”🤔
